Perceptions designer Andrea Mason creates a cool space for a very cool kid. Using a sophisticated palette of deep gray on the walls and floor support punched up accents in vibrant orange and chartreuse. This smart design will evolve with ease as the little occupant transitions from tween to teen. A simple swap of the trucks with books and the colorful art with posters and this will become the perfect hangout for a brooding teenage boy!

When tasked with restoring the master bathroom of this 1909 row house Andrea Mason and the team at Perceptions set out to transform the utilitarian space into a romantic retreat. Keeping the original footprint we replaced the outdated tile with white marble, framed the shower in glass, added built-it storage, a chandelier, and retreated the original claw-foot tub with a navy blue exterior. The end result, a relaxing retreat with modern amenities and a classic romantic feel.

This home belongs to a family of a famous artist, it was a great pleasure and a challenge to work with her, as her perception of color and a desire for preciseness of details are quite admirable. The owner wanted neutral yet stately, highly detailed yet not busy, hard working yet easy to maintain kitchen. We've developed custom finishes for the cabinetry, provided very disciplined rhythm in the design, used unusual materials (such as antiqued mirror) in the details, used high end appliances to help with the desired understated luxury perception of the home.

Vibrant splashes of color & pattern make this patio sing! Balancing the classic white painted wood with natural woven cushions and fun pops of color through plants and pillows make this patio fit for a fabulous soiree!

This cool roof top deck is definitely where the party's at! Perceptions developed an outdoor space which boast a casual vibe with multiple seating areas, space to dine, lounge or take in the sun, grill and garden! It's the perfect escape from the bustling city down below.

This once traditional bedroom received a modern update by the team at Perceptions. Transforming this space into a corporate hub was no small feat! Sliding glass doors create a work out nook to house the family's bulky treadmill. A multi-function media wall helps the homeowners keep up with world events, while a sleek walnut table serves as a conference center for meetings. When hosting visitors cozy seating and a comfy sleeper sofa instantly transform the space into a visitors retreat.
