With incredible views of the garden and fields beyond, the room orientation was changed. Along this wall used to be built in wardrobes but these were removed and the bed was positioned here to make the most of the view out of the patio doors.

Our showcase kitchen was envisioned to be a modern farmhouse dream. To encompass the trend we used period lighting, a combination of cream, black and natural wood tones. Authentic natural maple hardwood flooring. Partially stained wood and painted cream custom cabinets for contrast and definition. The spacious kitchen island made of Vicostone Carrara honed Quartz is attached to the dining table. White fireclay farmhouse sink. Premium JennAir appliances. Finished with cream faux leather dining chairs and farmhouse decor.

The Tulip Table series is a premium reproduction line inspired by Finnish and American mid-century architecture, a period vastly characterised by the simplification of everyday living. The unique single pedestal base is made from strong cast aluminum to support a heavy marble top whilst eliminating the unnecessary clutter of legs underneath.

Impressive “great tables” such as the one pictured were rare in early 18th Century New England. More common were the much smaller Queen Anne gateleg tables. The lack of large, banquet-size tables was most likely due to the small size of mid-18th Century dining rooms. Later in the Federal period when impressive mansions became more common, large banquet tables also became more prevalent. Our table is pattered after a table which is attributed to Connecticut. It is available without leaves or with two leaves, and can be special ordered with a third pedestal section.
