Pre-Tween Girl's Bedroom

When designer Rachel Peterson of Simply Baths, Inc. first met this young, stylish couple at their house they had a small handful of items they knew they really wanted in their master bathroom: a freestanding tub, a chandelier, a larger shower and more counter space. But the truth was, the bath needed a major face-lift. The space was outdated and lacked personality. It certainly didn't reflect the homeowners and their elegant aesthetic. The combination of stone and wood tiles lends just enough of a rustic flair to bring a little bit of the outdoors in and while helping to balance some of the feminine elements in the room with simple masculine touches. Featuring Dura Supreme Cabinetry.

The husband's STUDY says classic, but cool. All of the custom millwork is lacquered in Texas oil black as he is originally from Houston. But the objets d'art in the shelves are a strong bold silver as are the mirror and desk which together add a " star" like effect in the black sky room. The Floors are reclaimed wood and the door leads to the wrap around Veranda once again.

This modern farmhouse located outside of Spokane, Washington, creates a prominent focal point among the landscape of rolling plains. The composition of the home is dominated by three steep gable rooflines linked together by a central spine. This unique design evokes a sense of expansion and contraction from one space to the next. Vertical cedar siding, poured concrete, and zinc gray metal elements clad the modern farmhouse, which, combined with a shop that has the aesthetic of a weathered barn, creates a sense of modernity that remains rooted to the surrounding environment. The Glo double pane A5 Series windows and doors were selected for the project because of their sleek, modern aesthetic and advanced thermal technology over traditional aluminum windows. High performance spacers, low iron glass, larger continuous thermal breaks, and multiple air seals allows the A5 Series to deliver high performance values and cost effective durability while remaining a sophisticated and stylish design choice. Strategically placed operable windows paired with large expanses of fixed picture windows provide natural ventilation and a visual connection to the outdoors.

LIVING AND WORKING IN SPACES RICH IN PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER. The marked character and the chromatic intensity of Dark Oak chronicle an original way of living and working, rich in natural suggestions. The graphic energy of wood merges with the material strength of cement-effect surfaces and clads, with a continuous effect, floors, walls and architectural elements for personal spaces with sought-after details.

An office for two. The symmetry of the desks and bookcases makes the space feel organized. Cost-effective IKEA furniture was personalized by using fabric in the glass fronted bookcases.
