Storage space remained a challenge in the room, and if we added a tall storage unit to the wall where one could fit, we would be blocking the light and views of the windows. The solution was to create a long, built-in bench with drawer storage below and two long wooden shelves, higher up the wall, for books and personal items. To bring in an industrial vibe and complement the iron bed, we distressed the wood and used plumbing pipes and fixtures for shelf support. in the Master Suite, a walk-in closet was created. Once again, each section was strategically designed for a specific function. While the clients vast video library couldn't be totally contained in the Media room/Den, we allocated one shallow wall to the taks. At the end, the open door for shoe storage, ties and belts is a full length mirror (when the door is closed). The upper shelving was reserved for items that didn't require frequent access and those on the upper left side, open on to the Master Bedroom via a full built-in wall unit for additional storage of clothing, bedding and personal items.

Custom kitchen design with three finishes on the cabinets and island. We used the same granite top on the entire kitchen to keep it cohesive. The focal point in the kitchen is a custom designed floor to ceiling pantry cabinet finished in a deep charcoal and allows the homeowner to store all of her over sized cooking and baking items. The cabinet/breakfront on the right is also custom designed and we turned this into her command center with hidden areas for charging and personal items out of sight. Simply beautiful!
