We took a pass through room without purpose and turned it into a vibrant, functional, high design office that works well for the entire family. Wrap around shelving, inspired by mid century designs, gave the room loads of personality and storage for both husband and wife, and their 2 year old son. While children's books, crafting tools and educational supplies are stored on the easy-access lower shelves, work materials and reference books are stored on the top shelves. A room-wide desk provides an ample side by side work space for both professionals to share comfortably.

A key element of this home is the utilization of space, seating, and roominess- all necessary for a wonderful getaway vacation spot. The bunk bed with a trundle, as well as the secondary bed offer a ton of slumber options. Light greens, blues, and corals outline the coastal theme that is prevalent throughout this amazing place.

Jessica McClintock’s simply romantic personal style is the inspiration for this extensive collection of richly ornamented and detailed pieces for the home. The eclectic blending of materials and finishes adds even more romance and designer touches. The collection is crafted from Oak and Pecan Veneers, Silver Leaf, Metal and Marble. There are two core finishes – Baroque (dark) and White Veil (heavily distressed off white finish). White Veil, is an antique white wash that allows the wood grain to show through in some areas, while being more textured in others. The finish also has aged/distressed detailing that includes wormholes, water spotting, light brown splatter, rub through and worn edges. On most White Veil pieces, the tops are finished in our Revival finish. This is a raw, scrubbed finish on Pecan veneers that emulates an antique that has been stripped of its original finish. The darker, Baroque finish can be found on bedroom items. This finish is a cappuccino-colored worn finish with wire brushed details and antiqued glaze on Oak veneers.

Client wanted a clean, modern, industrial, rustic, with a little bohemian feel for their new loft. Storage was also key here since there is only one closet in this open loft. We wanted plenty of seating for entertaining, pet friendly materials on the furniture and add some storage where we could all while keeping the space clean and organized. A mix of materials made this loft as unique as the client, truly reflecting her personality and style. We created a sleeping area that is somewhat hidden from the public area. Using bookshelves as the divider this created a wall of storage or display area. Such a fun and cheerful space to be in.

For many of us, our mudroom is often the first place we enter when arriving home. For our clients, a family of four with 2 young children, the mudroom had to be well designed with ample storage and an efficient lay-out. A combination of closed door and open shelving provides an abundance of storage and hanging space to house everything from boots, shoes, coats and miscellaneous gear. Ample shelving provides space for baskets of varying sizes to corral a plethora of smaller items.
A generous cushioned bench for and decorative deer hooks installed above it for those easy to access items allows the family to hang and organize things and still have a space that looks clean and organized. Personal storage lockers with screen doors also provide a separated space for each person so that things can be easily stored, found and retrieved.

Customized for your family's needs, this solution provides tailored storage and integrated organization for personal and seasonal items alike.

A large desk in a Reading Room to gather around and read, play games, or set up for a party. The art installation above was from scarves. We love to use unexpected items to personalize our client's spaces.

After. The far wall of the Kitchen provided the perfect space for this coffee station and prep area! The maple cabinets and floating shelves (also from Adelphi) were stained in the color “Honey” which plays off the existing window frames, wooden beam and load-bearing column.

The personal items that this client wanted to showcase were always the focus. Medium grey paint chosen for walls and woodgrain vinyl plank flooring give the space a warm and cozy feel. A great place for this family to enjoy movie nights for years to come. .
