This residential compound includes a primary residence, guesthouse, barn, dining pavilion and entry gate. The distinctive form of the architecture is derived from the Teton Range extending to the south. To respond to this phenomenon, the ridge of the gable roof is angled to allow the north wall to gently rise toward the west, mimicking the line of the mountains. The south wall naturally rises to the east capturing the preferred morning light. The materials - wood, rusted steel, copper panels, and stone - form a monochromatic palette to reinforce the sculptural energy of each building. A.I.A. Blue stain pine made a wonderful choice for a cozy basement space in this rustic home. Ponderosa pine blue stain tongue and groove really is a one-of-a-kind selection for paneling and/or ceiling paneling, along with a variety of other uses. Its natural color gives it the appearance of being stained, but of course it really isn’t so no labor or maintenance is necessary to achieve the look. This blue stain is a sort of naturally occurring phenomenon that we get when Pine Beetles burrow into regular pine trees and inhabit the wood for a period of time, until the tree dies and they move on; the blue color of blue stain pine is a byproduct of the Pine Beetles’ presence. This lumber would need to be harvested anyway, so being able to put it to use in beautiful interior applications is a huge bonus to the environment.

One Hyde Park in London is an architectural phenomenon and residential complex whose beauty, luxury and service merge in an exclusive way - making it one of the wealthiest and most secretive residential apartment buildings in the world. The collaboration between leading architects, designers, artists and hoteliers ensures that One Hyde Park delivers ultimate perfection and a unique experience on every level. The 90 apartments in the building are finished with WOCA High Solid Master Oil with Patina Discs. Roughly half of the floors in the exclusive apartments are engineered natural oak wood and the other half are deep fired oak wood.

As the moon rotates around the earth it shows itself to us in different shades, marking the different seasons. The balance between dark and light in terms of the moons cycle, defines a time of growth and a fresh start under the first quarter moon: Spring. The Last quarter moon represents the beginning of the end of the cycle, tearing down old structures and preparing the way for new ones: Fall. This half circle phenomenon and the graphical system symbolising the Luna phases, was key inspiration behind the design of the Moonrise mirror. The Moonrise Mirror is a circle mirror split in two ‘hemispheres’, one coloured and one clear. The backside of the mirror is handmade of Oak wood and offers a simple construction to hang the mirror to the wall.
