Inspiration for an eclectic bedroom remodel in New York

Backyard of a Northern Italian Villa Style home in a gated community called Pelican Crest in the secluded town of Newport Coast. This home is on Pelicans Road which is possibly the most exclusive cul-de-sac of Pelican Crest. The project started in 2006 and was completed by 2008, stone was supplied by one of our middleman local broker at the time. All antique limestone floors were the 'Arcane' Limestone blend which is a Mediterranean Reclaimed Limestone collection that is a few centuries old. This wonderful home has been featured in several media outlets and in both local and national print and digital publications. The home had been sold for about $15,800,000 in May 2013 by its original owners. It is now back on the market for a whooping $20,000,000 as of April 2016 if you like to know! Since 2010 We have seen more than 10 homes valued between $10M to $20M selling in this one gated community all of which contained our stone elements in one capacity or another. This was an additional, unused space our client decided to remodel and turn into a glam room for her and her girlfriends to enjoy! Great place to host, serve some crafty cocktails and play your favorite romantic comedy on the big screen.

We turned this old mill stone into a water feature and bird bath for one of our customers. We placed it just outside their living room window so they can enjoy the noise of the water and watch the birds play in the water.

This is a cozy little nook inclusive of a window seat located in the up hall for the kids to enjoy. Its the perfect size for the little ones to cozy up and enjoy a good book or a quaint place to play and clean up after.

Achieving a primary design goal for the property’s new owners, we featured a substantial “infinity” lawn for play and enjoyment, easily accessible through the master bedroom French doors and across the Ipe wood bridge.

This master bathroom renovation transforms a builder-grade standard into a personalized retreat for our lovely Stapleton clients. Recognizing a need for change, our clients called on us to help develop a space that would capture their aesthetic loves and foster relaxation. Our design focused on establishing an airy and grounded feel by pairing various shades of white, natural wood, and dynamic textures. We replaced the existing ceramic floor tile with wood-look porcelain tile for a warm and inviting look throughout the space. We then paired this with a reclaimed apothecary vanity from Restoration Hardware. This vanity is coupled with a bright Caesarstone countertop and warm bronze faucets from Delta to create a strikingly handsome balance. The vanity mirrors are custom-sized and trimmed with a coordinating bronze frame. Elegant wall sconces dance between the dark vanity mirrors and bright white full height mirrors flanking the bathtub. The tub itself is an oversized freestanding bathtub paired with a tall bronze tub filler. We've created a feature wall with Tile Bar's Billowy Clouds ceramic tile floor to ceiling behind the tub. The wave-like movement of the tiles offers a dramatic texture in a pure white field. We removed the existing shower and extended its depth to create a large new shower. The walls are tiled with a large format high gloss white tile. The shower floor is tiled with marble circles in varying sizes that offer a playful aesthetic in an otherwise minimalist space. We love this pure, airy retreat and are thrilled that our clients get to enjoy it for many years to come!
