We had the pleasure of adding some serious style to this pied-a-terre located in the heart of Austin. With only 750 square feet, we were able to give this Airbnb property a chic combination of both Texan culture and contemporary style via locally sourced artwork and intriguing textiles. We wanted the interior to be attractive to everyone who stepped in the door, so we chose an earth-toned color palette consisting of soft creams, greens, blues, and peach. Contrasting black accents and an eclectic gallery wall fill the space with a welcoming personality that also leaves a “city vibe” feel. An artistic interior we had the pleasure of bringing together! This client is an art collector, so we designed the space around their amazing artwork and decor. A neutral color palette of cream, white, and gray ties each room together - while allowing the eclectic mix of artwork to take over as unique focal points. The pleasure of rising with the sun and witnessing the sunset in one’s own bed is yet another amazing architectural highlight of Villa Costera. Leather, glass, and metal are some of the main elements that compose this space. Sarah chose gray tones to not just serve fashionably but functionally. The residence’s field of vision would begin with the rug upon entering the room, then be led up to the curtains, and finally the astonishing coastal view.

Long Island Mantel and the home owner spent many hours viewing photos to pick out each element of this wall unit. The client knew what she wanted and choose very carefully each detail. It was a complete pleasure working with her.
