The original character of this home was captured in the elegant basement remodel. From secret doors to the speakasy feel, this basement is an inviting space for entertaining, playing poker and relaxing in front of the TV.

The homeowners had a very specific vision for their large daylight basement. To begin, Neil Kelly's team, led by Portland Design Consultant Fabian Genovesi, took down numerous walls to completely open up the space, including the ceilings, and removed carpet to expose the concrete flooring. The concrete flooring was repaired, resurfaced and sealed with cracks in tact for authenticity. Beams and ductwork were left exposed, yet refined, with additional piping to conceal electrical and gas lines. Century-old reclaimed brick was hand-picked by the homeowner for the east interior wall, encasing stained glass windows which were are also reclaimed and more than 100 years old. Aluminum bar-top seating areas in two spaces. A media center with custom cabinetry and pistons repurposed as cabinet pulls. And the star of the show, a full 4-seat wet bar with custom glass shelving, more custom cabinetry, and an integrated television-- one of 3 TVs in the space. The new one-of-a-kind basement has room for a professional 10-person poker table, pool table, 14' shuffleboard table, and plush seating.

For the ultimate hosting experience, this sophisticated open-concept entertainment space seamlessly blends luxury and functionality. A custom home bar, wrapped in a rich, chocolaty wood finish with subtle gold accents, sets the stage for craft cocktails and lively gatherings. At the center, a versatile black wood poker table, surrounded by plush, fully upholstered armchairs, serves as both a stylish gaming hub and an elegant dining space, effortlessly transitioning from game night to dinner party. A stunning modern fireplace, framed in black marble and walnut wood paneling, accentuates the room’s expansive height, dramatically rising from the floor and cantilevering outward over the seating area. Making extensive use of stone, reclaimed timbers, antique beams, and other natural materials, this mountain estate home also successfully blends the old with the new in finishes and amenities. Situated high on a ridge top, with stunning mountain views, the designers of MossCreek created open spaces with walls of windows throughout the home to take advantage of the home site. The extensive use of wood finishes and elements, both on the exterior and interior, all help to connect the home to it's surroundings. MossCreek worked closely with the owners to design an elegant mountain estate that is both welcoming to friends, while providing privacy to its owners, and the home is an example of custom home design at it's best. Example of a mid-sized classic 3/4 gray floor doorless shower design with a hinged shower door

This 4,500 sq ft basement in Long Island is high on luxe, style, and fun. It has a full gym, golf simulator, arcade room, home theater, bar, full bath, storage, and an entry mud area. The palette is tight with a wood tile pattern to define areas and keep the space integrated. We used an open floor plan but still kept each space defined. The golf simulator ceiling is deep blue to simulate the night sky. It works with the room/doors that are integrated into the paneling — on shiplap and blue. We also added lights on the shuffleboard and integrated inset gym mirrors into the shiplap. We integrated ductwork and HVAC into the columns and ceiling, a brass foot rail at the bar, and pop-up chargers and a USB in the theater and the bar. The center arm of the theater seats can be raised for cuddling. LED lights have been added to the stone at the threshold of the arcade, and the games in the arcade are turned on with a light switch.

Modern luxury meets warm farmhouse in this Southampton home! Scandinavian inspired furnishings and light fixtures create a clean and tailored look, while the natural materials found in accent walls, casegoods, the staircase, and home decor hone in on a homey feel. An open-concept interior that proves less can be more is how we’d explain this interior. By accentuating the “negative space,” we’ve allowed the carefully chosen furnishings and artwork to steal the show, while the crisp whites and abundance of natural light create a rejuvenated and refreshed interior. This sprawling 5,000 square foot home includes a salon, ballet room, two media rooms, a conference room, multifunctional study, and, lastly, a guest house (which is a mini version of the main house).
