This is our most popular home office glass enclosure. We did this in a builders model home and wow orders are coming in from private homeowners now. Here we used the Laguna style sliding door with black grids on the fixed glass. Great for home or commercial applications.

Danish Modern is one of the several types of Modern design style. Popularized in Denmark from the 1940s-1970s, Danish modern furniture design was a collaboration between the principles of modern architecture and the high-quality cabinetmaking for which the Danes were known. Simple, elegant, airy, and featuring clean, sweeping lines, the furnishings are inherently warm and beautiful.
This open dining room is a collection of vintage Danish modern furniture dating from the early 1970s. The authentic pieces were located at different auction houses and specialty consigners around the country to create a cohesive look the homeowners were seeking.
The solid teak sideboard features a lighted upper display cabinet (removable) showcasing the homeowners’ collection of art including Nambé, Murano, Vietri sul Mare, and Blenko.
The lower cabinet consists of two sliding doors on either end offering plentiful storage. In between are a bank of five felt-lined drawers for items such as silverware, trays and linens.
With graceful rounded corners and rich, warm teak woodgrain, the dining room table is a perfect match to the sideboard. Two leaves tightly drop in and enable expansion with seating capacity for 14 people.
Mixing up dining chairs adds interest and variety. The curvaceous and timeless Arne Jacobsen (the Danish designer) Series 7 chair in black is the perfect pairing for this dynamic design.
Crowning the space is the airy, translucent classic Nelson bubble lamp, keeping in line with the Modernist theme.

Design by Leslie Murchie Cascino:
The client wanted to respect the age and architecture of the home which was built in 1924 in a European-inspired style popular at that time. They aimed for a bright, vintage, luxe bistro look in dark navy and white, with high contrast colors and materials, which all centered on the custom BlueStar® classic black range with brass trim. According to the designer, the range was the entire impetus for the complete kitchen renovation. For the client, who previously was a BlueStar® owner before the move to Michigan, there was no other choice. The kitchen looks like it has always been there, perfectly fitted and in proportion to the home and its historical style but with the performance and dynamism of the modern era.

A dynamic marble back splash behind the gas range is a compelling focal point. A flat, easy-to-clean, custom, stainless-steel plate frames the exhaust fan in the bridge above the range. Two islands & ceiling-high cabinetry quadruple the previous counter & storage space. The seven foot prep island services the 48” paneled refrigerator & 48” gas range & includes 2nd sink, 2nd dishwasher & 2nd trash/recycling station, while the nine foot multipurpose island with seating services three work stations with multiple storage options for each workstation. Both sink spigots are touch-less & are fed by whole-house water filtration system.

The Victor Dining Table- creates a dynamic focus for any dining environment. Victor will easily coordinate with and complement any of our popular dining chairs. Companion cocktail table, end table, and console, are also available.

Designed by Catherine Neitzey of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Fredericksburg, VA in collaboration with Heritage Contracting Services, this transitional style inspired two-finish kitchen design features Merillat Classic Tolani Maple Kona and Merillat Masterpiece Montresano with Aged Picket Fence finish cabinets. The bathroom also features Tolani Maple Kona cabinetry. The kitchen includes an Imagery Glass Mosaic 3x6 in Rain material Glass GM07412 tile backsplash.
“We walked into Reico without an appointment, because 2 friends highly recommended them.
We were warmly greeted by Cat, even without an appointment,” said the client. “Cat listened, and then pulled out samples as she guided us patiently through the process. She brought to our attention a cabinet larger than the actual area in our plan. We were able to adjust before it was ordered. Her guidance, suggestions and attention to our likes and dislikes proved to be invaluable.”
“This project was remodeling a basement to add to a multi-generation home with an eye on creating a space to enjoy,” said Cat. “I hit it off with the client right away, meeting prior to selecting a contractor which changed the dynamic of our roles for the duration of the project.”
The client added, “One of the best services Reico provided was computer generated visuals. It helped us see what the overall look would be. The kitchen and bathroom are beyond our expectations. We love the look and the flow!”
“We changed the wall cabinet color as the space started to come together with all of the supporting selections made,” said Cat. “The Aged Picket Fence painted finish with its artisan random distressing contrasts the contemporary base cabinets and glass tile in the best way. It is such a warm version of today's popular white and gray color schemes. Added greens and textures really keep the space so warm and inviting.”
