Open base design modular sofa URBAN is a modular sofa combining elegance, simplicity and style with a sober, rational and contemporary design that makes it perfectly suitable for both modern and classic interiors. The thin, curved armrest that supports the sofa and is prolonged to the ground is the distinguishing feature of this model. It is also characterized by the double-needle stitching carried out with the same care as for sartorial details. The rectangular cushion that completes and decorates the armrest can also be used as lumbar support cushion. The multi-density expanded PU foam seat cushions with a layer made from a blend of down and polyurethane guarantee a pleasant feeling of wrap-around comfort and a long life.

This backyard was completely reimagined into a modern, fully automated outdoor living space designed for relaxation, entertaining, and year-round enjoyment. At the center of the design is a fully automated 11’ x 9’ inground spa, equipped with a dedicated pump for powerful swimming jets and a sleek sheer descent water feature. The spa is finished with pour-in-place coping, stack stone on the spa facing, and low-voltage LED lighting to enhance both functionality and nighttime ambiance. Adjacent to the spa is a custom rectangular fire pit, featuring pour-in-place coping, stack stone veneer, and integrated low-voltage lighting, creating a warm and inviting focal point for evening gatherings. For entertaining, we built a custom BBQ island topped with a concrete countertop, and fully equipped with an ice chest, refrigerator, trash pull-out, and ample storage space, offering both durability and a clean, modern aesthetic. The hardscape includes 24” x 12” decking pavers installed throughout the yard and continued along the side of the house, all designed with proper drainage for long-term performance and durability. A raised planter system adds structure and greenery to the space, finished with pour-in-place coping, smooth stucco planter faces, and low-voltage lighting both on and within the planters. An irrigation drip system was integrated into all planters to ensure efficient watering and healthy plant growth with minimal maintenance. To soften the design, artificial grass with stepping stones was installed, creating a low-maintenance, lush look while improving flow through the yard. For evening atmosphere, three metal posts were installed for string lighting, complemented by low-voltage lighting throughout all flat and raised planters to deliver layered, resort-style ambiance after dark. Finally, white vinyl gates and fencing were added to enclose and conceal the spa and pool equipment, topped with a privacy extension to keep the space visually clean and private. The result is a cohesive, modern outdoor retreat that balances design, comfort, and functionality. Perfect for both entertaining and everyday enjoyment.

Even though there were two points of entry into this client’s kitchen, the space was closed off. Opening up the wall instantly created a more open and inviting layout that allowed for the installation of a large island. Eliminating the barrier between the kitchen and the adjacent living area, provides a seamless flow that is perfect for entertaining guests or simply keeping an eye on the kids while cooking dinner. A Showstopping Island At the heart of this kitchen remodel is an expansive 9 ft. island, designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The island features a stunning White Pearl natural quartzite countertop that radiates elegance. With its unique veining and shimmering finish, this stone serves as a beautiful focal point and adds a touch of luxury to the space. A beverage cooler and dishwasher are tucked underneath, concealed from the view of the living area. Three 12” deep and 36” wide cabinets line the front of the island providing additional hidden storage. This multifunctional design makes the island an essential part of daily life in the kitchen, making it a cozy spot for casual dining or morning coffee. Complementary Perimeter Countertops To enhance the overall look, the perimeter countertops are topped with Silestone Eternal Charcoal. This material offers a striking contrast to the lighter island, featuring rich, dark hues that ground the space and create depth. The durability and easy maintenance of Silestone make it an ideal choice for busy kitchens, ensuring that the surfaces remain beautiful and functional for years to come. Beautiful Cabinetry The cabinetry in this remodel plays a pivotal role in both style and storage. We opted for Waypoint Cabinetry in a Maple Latte finish, which adds warmth and sophistication to the kitchen. This extensive remodel overlooking Lake Austin is a paean to the powerful art it enfolds. Rigorous editing of every distracting, inconsequential element of the original house was critical. So too was the insertion of new complementary components that provide artful ways to move through both interior and exterior rooms. The collection of modern art is arresting. Ranging from a Turrell hologram to a pair of Agnes Martins, the art is framed by the architecture and lighting so that it is experienced in a choregraphed, curated way that encourages wandering and an intimate connection to each piece. The mood is set in the entry courtyard. A floating walkway curves down and around a brilliant spiraling blue Clement sculpture. It pauses once, at a moment of surprise, when the first view through the house is filled with the blue water of the lake beyond. Inside the saturated color of many of the pieces of art are balanced by an absence of other visual clutter in the color palette, furniture and architecture. A new interior plaster, steel and bronze stair carves through a space occupied by two small Clement sculptures in niches, a Page Kempner sculpture on a landing and a glass cylinder elevator. This is a very specific place, designed for specific art and for a collector who has a close relationship with each piece.

This luxurious living room is well equipped for a fantastic conversation or a great show on TV. Natural elements are paired with silver and gold to add visual value. The room is just layers of yummy textures! The oversized rug is made from broadloom carpet that we had cut and bound at exactly the size we wanted.

This home was redesigned to reflect the homeowners' personalities through intentional and bold design choices, resulting in a visually appealing and powerfully expressive environment. The home's outdoor space offers the perfect blend of comfort and style. Relax on plush seating while embracing nature's beauty, or gather around the charming dining area for delightful meals under open skies.

Adding trim to the main wall in the entry integrates the portion of the space below the dropped ceiling with the rest of the wall -- visually and functionally enlarging the space. The depth of the bulkhead dictated the size and proportion of the panels we created. To further distract from the change in ceiling height, we added a carved medallion to the centre panel. We wanted to highlight the trim here, to add interest and definition, so we had them painted antique gold. The ceiling too was given a glam mottled gold finish. The simple, modern chandelier is oversized for the space, but its spare lines keep it from being overwhelming. A new smaller but bolder console table -- its black and gold echoing the stronger details of the living room beyond -- is given added importance by the full-length mirror behind it. The client's own chairs were moved from the family room -- where they were just "okay". Here their contemporary style nicely contrasts with the ornate chest, while dark teal toss pillows add a powerful note that is repeated throughout the main level. Together with the client's bench on the other side of the door, the chairs create an inviting seating area for parties, as well as a thoughtful aid when donning or doffing footwear. We found this area rug on the floor in the family room, where it was too small and too strong for the furnishings. Here it takes on a whole new life as the PERFECT finishing touch.

Emser Ciudad was installed staggered on the floor and we took it up the back wall of the power bath with a straight pattern to create some visual interest without being too overpowering.

THEME Every element of this room is tied to a traditional nursery rhyme. From the “Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe” to “Hickory Dickory Dock,” the Cobbler brings to life some of childhood’s most memorable and endearing rhymes. FOCUS To counter the room’s high ceiling, the design introduces elements with both comparable height and considerable warmth, making the room feel spacious, yet cozy. A large, shoe-shaped armoire pays homage to the “Old Woman” and is built in place from floor to ceiling. It features curtained doors and drawer fronts, a wooden shingle roof with a blue bird on top, and a clothesline for baby’s favorite wares. The mural over the crib, showing the Cow Jumping over the Moon and her counterpart, the Dish Running Away with the Spoon, adds fantasy and humor. Quaint, hand-painted stone walls that surround the shoe and hardwood flooring that partially replaces wall-to-wall carpeting help unify the room. An organic curve unites the wood and carpet gracefully, adding visual interest and organic beauty. STORAGE The shoe holds clothing and linens, while the changing table stores diapers and diaper accessories. Shelving installed above the changing table adds color and interest, while creating room for stuffed animals, pictures, toys and treasures. GROWTH The room’s childlike theme and magical giant shoe, although intended for young children, are sufficiently functional and artistic to remain an endearing attraction for the room’s occupant throughout childhood and adolescence. SAFETY Precautions are taken to secure power outlets, keep exposed shelving out of reach of little hands, and allow medicinal items to be secured in a safe, convenient location. The clothesline is suspended high above the room and is secured to stay out of reach.

Adding to the charm and privacy of the bathroom is a set of white plantation shutters that separate the bathing area from the rest of the space. The pristine white bathtub, accompanied by a wooden tray for added convenience, invites relaxation and indulgence. The wooden tray not only adds functionality but also lends a touch of warmth to the otherwise cool-toned space. Adjacent to the bathtub, a walk-in shower with a glass door showcases clean lines and minimalistic design. A black faucet with a matching handle adds an unexpected touch of contrast to the predominantly white space, creating visual interest and breaking the monochromatic palette. The elegant combination of materials and textures, along with the thoughtful layout, makes this bathroom remodel a testament to the power of timeless design. The result is a space that exudes luxury and tranquility, a true oasis for homeowners seeking solace in the comfort of their own home.

This exterior renovation aimed to revitalize a charming 1960s Southern colonial-style brick home while preserving its timeless appeal. The skilled design team at Revolve embraced the client's vision of a "Transitional Contemporary" style, skillfully blending classic and modern elements to create a truly unique outcome. Revolve updated the home’s curved features, such as the classical columns and rounded bay windows, to achieve this beautiful transformation. They incorporated sleek lines and contemporary materials that exude sophistication. The removal of shutters and the enlargement of existing windows with modern frames and thermal glass enhanced the home’s visual appeal, increased interior natural light, and improved energy efficiency, contributing to the overall well-being of the homeowners. Gone are the days of painted-shut windows; the new windows now open smoothly, bringing a refreshing change! In keeping with the original design of the house, Revolve maintained the existing second-floor porch along the front, eliminating the picket railing and traditional molding. These elements were replaced with square columns and a minimalist custom horizontal metal railing system. Additionally, the team thoughtfully enhanced the continuous masonry façade by removing sections of brick and replacing them with a contemporary wood rainscreen. This adjustment added depth to what was previously a flat elevation and tied together areas of the house that were re-clad from vinyl siding to wood plank. The design team also redefined the geometry of the multiple rooflines and third-floor dormers to create a cohesive overall design. Carefully selected paint and stain colors added warmth and dimension to the updated exterior. Modern elements were introduced into the outdoor space, resulting in a cozy outdoor living area complete with a gas-powered fireplace and a large-screen TV—perfect for enjoying Ravens games with friends and family.
