The swimming pool is immediately striking thanks to both its wood-panelled ceiling as well as the huge walls covered with marble-effect ceramic slabs. Two natural materials that blend in seamlessly with the woody mountain backdrop of Vancouver, a scene that can be enjoyed in all its glory through the large double-height windows which also filter the natural light flooding in to light the setting. The swimming pool affords the ultimate relaxation: on the one hand, a view opens onto the surrounding green forests; as you raise your eyes upwards, the wooden panels cut into geometric shapes entertain the view, forming a game of combinations that reflects the myriad facets of a gem, and on the other walls, the welcoming feel of a candid ceramic cladding of slabs from the I Naturali | Bianco Statuario Venato series in the 1000x3000mm size and in the 5.6 mm thickness, applied in their most surprising combination, in other words Book Match, to recreate the effect of a continuous vein pattern, just like in a natural quarry. The customers loved our R-Blade modern pergola design that could match the architecture of the mansion. These automated louvered roof systems allow for better climate management while also offering natural ventilation. This is all due to the in-built sensor system that detects the weather in real-time and reacts accordingly. For example, the rain sensors automatically close the blades, while the wind sensors find the perfect setting in case of strong winds to keep you and your guests comfortable. This was the perfect solution for this Palm Beach county mansion in Bear’s Club, Jupiter, FL, with its 800 sq. ft. space that boasts of wooden floors, a recording studio, dedicated game room, and other features. The challenges of louvered pergola design for this project Working on this special project with very exacting requirements was a very exciting challenge. 1- Three zones with different heights This modern pergola design covers three zones with different heights – a living area, dining area, and an outdoor kitchen. Additionally, the customer wanted elaborate outdoor seating with no more than 8 spot beams, 16 LED lights, and a unique drainage system that had to be tied into the pipe under the gradient. 2 – Re-engineer our gutter system that prevents leakage A super gutter was attached to the upper beam taking water from the main roof down a separate post, resulting in a neat design that’s perfect for this luxury mansion. The customer also required a fully functional outdoor kitchen where practicality, technology, and aesthetics could provide a contemporary feel to the environment. Our bio-climactic pergola served as a perfect design feature for meeting all these needs – while also sheltering from atmospheric agents. We designed the modern pergola with our sturdy and functional technology that provides a well-engineered solution to safeguard the deck from heavy rain and sunlight. Outside features and Azenco’s solutions All in all, we had to create an indoor-outdoor living room for this Bear’s Club mansion. The luxury pergola had to match high standards and stand out from the rest of the architecture. That’s why it was crafted in solid mahogany. Before its renovation, this was just the huge yard with a pool. But now, it’s the perfect indoor-outdoor area with casual rattan furniture and a tridimensional automated pergola that brings out the latest technology in home automation. The large cooking area is spacious enough to accommodate a barbecue. But as chic and elegant as it looks, it can be super hard to maintain an outdoor kitchen since it is easily exposed by atmospheric agents. However, the bio-climactic pergola offers it much-needed protection as it safeguards all your appliances, surfaces, and cooking items from excess heat and winds.

We recently completed a bathroom remodel for a local vision clinic, transforming the space into a clean, welcoming, and highly functional environment for patients and staff. The tailored pleated panels, finished with a tassel trim detail and hung from custom French return rod and rings, bring a refined elegance to the space while remaining approachable and inviting. In the inviting kitchen, custom-tailored Roman shades and seat cushions provide a refined yet welcoming layer of comfort and style. The Roman shades, feature a fabric that complements the room’s palette and coordinates with the adjacent living room draperies. Coordinating seat cushions on the barstools are expertly upholstered for both durability and comfort, adding softness to the sleek seating. In the cheerful and highly functional laundry and mudroom, custom soft furnishings bring both comfort and personality. The built-in bench features a tailored cushion upholstered in a fresh blue geometric print, edged with piping for a polished finish—perfect for a quick seat while slipping on shoes or folding laundry. The renovation of Maison Gray was an ambitious project, marked by technical challenges to transform this 1960s residence into a modern and bright living space. Due to urban planning constraints, it was impossible to completely demolish the house. Therefore, a progressive approach was adopted, methodically deconstructing and rebuilding each wall while keeping the roof in place with temporary supports. This required rigorous coordination between the demolition and construction teams, who worked in parallel to successfully complete the large-scale project. Major structural and framing work allowed for the roof slopes to be redefined and the creation of a double-height space, a central feature of the house's new architecture. Despite the complexity of the project, the work was completed in a relatively short period, an impressive achievement for such a large-scale transformation. Thanks to meticulous execution, the house was practically rebuilt from scratch, with a mezzanine and new spaces arranged in half-levels within a generous volume. The tall arch on the façade marks the vaulted entrance leading to an open living space in double height, naturally lit by a skylight and large windows opening to the garden. Achieving these elements and alignments required great precision, with every architectural detail, from curves to openings, carefully executed to create a fluid and harmonious flow. Sangaré Studio designed the interior with natural materials in soft tones, creating intimate and fluid spaces. Built with care, Maison Gray offers a welcoming and soothing environment, allowing the family to enjoy spaces designed for comfort and tranquility.

The inspiration for the Dune began with the simple idea to seamlessly connect the kitchen to the living space. Dune is a unique contemporary kitchen cabinet design without handles. It is defined by asymmetrically curved base units and echoing flowing forms found in nature. Opening is achieved by a groove on the edge of the extra thick 23mm front panel (base units) or by a vertical aluminum profile (tall units). Drawers in the curved units allow Pedini to offer this remarkable Italian kitchen design without compromising the environment, ergonomics or functionality. Dune contemporary kitchens offer a high component of adaptability and individual variations, which allows room for harmony between the functional aspects of the house. Dune truly adapts to the nature of it’s surrounding. Soft technology. Pedini makes daily living more practical thanks to the quality of the opening systems of doors and drawers, and with an automated closing mechanism, great storage capacity, and the total personalization of the spaces. Dune aesthetics provide attractive contrasts between wood veneers, steel, and quartz worktops. Modern kitchen designs like Dune are a perfect fit in any home. For this project, the goals were straight forward - a low energy, low maintenance home that would allow the "60 something couple” time and money to enjoy all their interests. Accessibility was also important since this is likely their last home. In the end the style is minimalist, but the raw, natural materials add texture that give the home a warm, inviting feeling. The home has R-67.5 walls, R-90 in the attic, is extremely air tight (0.4 ACH) and is oriented to work with the sun throughout the year. As a result, operating costs of the home are minimal. The HVAC systems were chosen to work efficiently, but not to be complicated. They were designed to perform to the highest standards, but be simple enough for the owners to understand and manage. The owners spend a lot of time camping and traveling and wanted the home to capture the same feeling of freedom that the outdoors offers. The spaces are practical, easy to keep clean and designed to create a free flowing space that opens up to nature beyond the large triple glazed Passive House windows. Built-in cubbies and shelving help keep everything organized and there is no wasted space in the house - Enough space for yoga, visiting family, relaxing, sculling boats and two home offices. The most frequent comment of visitors is how relaxed they feel. This is a result of the unique connection to nature, the abundance of natural materials, great air quality, and the play of light throughout the house. The exterior of the house is simple, but a striking reflection of the local farming environment. The materials are low maintenance, as is the landscaping.
