Two crowned synthetic lawn create individual "outdoor rooms". Prior to the project, the backyard was rarely used. Now, however, this home has a fantastic outdoor space that's not only beautiful, but provides a place for grandchildren to play and practice cartwheels!

After - the new stair railing system makes a statement, and the configuration of the spaces is now more practical. The space beyond the staircase is now the entryway/hall, and a doorway into the Family Room beyond was created to provide an entrance from the Hallway.

This is our current model for our community, Sugar Plum, located in Washington, UT. Master “Sweet”! Separated from the other three bedrooms this master retreat is amazing. The bathroom standard features include double sinks, large shower, soaker tub and two his and hers walk in closets. The rest of this impressive house claims large entry way with adjacent fourth bedroom or den. The cook will appreciate the working space and large pantry in the open living space. You can relax in this charming home.

It’s always a blessing when your clients become friends - and that’s exactly what blossomed out of this two-phase remodel (along with three transformed spaces!). These clients were such a joy to work with and made what, at times, was a challenging job feel seamless. This project consisted of two phases, the first being a reconfiguration and update of their master bathroom, guest bathroom, and hallway closets, and the second a kitchen remodel.
In keeping with the style of the home, we decided to run with what we called “traditional with farmhouse charm” – warm wood tones, cement tile, traditional patterns, and you can’t forget the pops of color! The master bathroom airs on the masculine side with a mostly black, white, and wood color palette, while the powder room is very feminine with pastel colors.
When the bathroom projects were wrapped, it didn’t take long before we moved on to the kitchen. The kitchen already had a nice flow, so we didn’t need to move any plumbing or appliances. Instead, we just gave it the facelift it deserved! We wanted to continue the farmhouse charm and landed on a gorgeous terracotta and ceramic hand-painted tile for the backsplash, concrete look-alike quartz countertops, and two-toned cabinets while keeping the existing hardwood floors. We also removed some upper cabinets that blocked the view from the kitchen into the dining and living room area, resulting in a coveted open concept floor plan.
Our clients have always loved to entertain, but now with the remodel complete, they are hosting more than ever, enjoying every second they have in their home.

Removed load bearing wall between kitchen and hallway/pantry, to create an open floorplan. Now there is room for the kitchen table to open to seat 8 people.

The bead board cabinets and closet section is custom made in the field.

We made certain they could fully enjoy their freshly painted kitchen island by selecting comfortable and practical seating. Now they have a beautiful place to snack, for the kids to do homework, and for guests to sit and chat. And they are all just loving the convenience of the beverage fridge!

Empty and open front patio was transformed into a private Asian themed area for yoga, relaxing and entertaining.
Koi fish and fire pit add to the serene feeling of the space which now is practically an additional room, adding useable square footage to the house.

We started by levelling the top area into two terraced lawns of low water Kurapia and nearly doubling the space on the lower level with retaining walls. We built a striking new pergola with a graphic steel-patterned roof to make a covered seating area. Along with creating shade, the roof casts a movie reel of shade patterns throughout the day. Now there is ample space to kick back and relax, watching the sun spread its glow on the surrounding hillside as it makes its slow journey down the horizon towards sunset. An aerodynamic fan keeps the air pleasantly cool and refreshing. At night the backyard comes alive with an ethereal lighting scheme illuminating the space and making it a place you can enjoy well into the night. It’s the perfect place to end the day.

A love of bread making in this family meant they needed multiple prep areas and better storage solutions.
