KitchenLab InteriorsKitchenLab Interiors’ first, entirely new construction project in collaboration with GTH architects who designed the residence. KLI was responsible for all interior finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and design including the stairs, casework, interior doors, moldings and millwork. Lorie had been Rebekah's babysitter and was like an older sister growing up. They were both heavily influenced by the style of the late 70's and early 80's boho/hippy meets disco and 80's glam, and both credit their moms for an early interest in anything related to art, design, and style. Amy Troute Inspired Interior DesignSecond homes and vacation homes are such fun projects for us and when Portland residents Leslie and Phil found their dream house on the fairway in central Oregon, they asked us to help them make it feel like home. Updates to carpet and paint refreshed the palette for new furnishings, and the homeowners requested we use their treasured art and accessories to truly create that “homey” feeling. We “shopped” their Portland home for items that would work with the rooms we’d designed throughout the house, and the result was immediately familiar and welcoming. We also collaborated on custom stair railings and new island brackets with local master Downtown Ornamental Iron and redesigned a rustic slab fireplace mantel with a local craftsman. We’ve enjoyed additional projects with Leslie and Phil in their Portland home and returned to Bend to refresh the kitchen with quartz slab countertops, a bold black tile backsplash and new appliances. We aren’t surprised to hear this “vacation home” has become their primary residence much sooner than they’d planned!

Connecticut Roofcrafters LlcRidge and valley detail on the garage and connecting shed roof of a new architectural asphalt roof installation on this historic North Branford, Connecticut residence. The main home features a box gable roof, which connects under a shed roof at the rear of the home to an open gable garage with the same roof proportions. After removing the previous roof down to the decking, we covered this roof with a continuous CertainTeed ice and water underlayment membrane. We then installed 3,000 square feet of CertainTeed Landmark architectural asphalt shingles in Charcoal Black. The job was topped off with a ridge vent on the primary residence and copper protrusion flashing.

AJO ArchitectsThis project transforms an existing garage into a modern Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) designed for potential rental income. The client wanted to give the garage a fresh new look while taking full advantage of the stunning views of City Park, Downtown Denver, and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
The ADU features a 1-bed, 1-bath open-concept design with expansive windows that flood the space with natural light and showcase the views. Inside, the living area flows into a functional workspace, while the kitchen blends natural wood tones with dark marble countertops for a warm, contemporary feel.
The exterior combines a sleek modern design with wood accents and a sloped roofline to compliment the primary residence. A staircase sits beside the upgraded garage as a private entry for guests separate from the main residence. This design balances functionality, style, and the potential for long-term value as a rental property.

DLD updated this iconic home while utilizing many of Mr. Woolf’s signature “Hollywood Regency” design principles. This was Ms. Livingston’s primary residence for several years and she incorporated all the custom design elements and details that she is so well known for. “What’s wonderful about this house is that it has grand proportions but it’s also intimate.”

Connecticut Roofcrafters LlcShake, copper flashing and ridge cap detail on a traditional Cape Cod residence in Fairfield County where we recently installed a new western red cedar roof. The primary residence possessed a multi-pitched Gabel Roof including multiple dormers. All valleys and protrusions were flashed with copper; we maintained the original chimney flashing after placing new mortar as required.
