Accoya was selected for the black coated weatherboards on the front section of the house, due to its durability and stability benefits. Because of Accoya’s modification technique it is the ideal wood for external cladding such as this.
Generally, problems can occur with darker coatings on cladding, due to shrink and swell being exasperated by the solar gain. But, Accoya wood’s superior dimensional stability negates this problem and maintenance intervals are dramatically extended.
The cladding needed to be aesthetically pleasing as well as highly durable in order to withstand the extreme climates in New Zealand. Accoya was also chosen due to its rot resistant benefits and its ability to deter insects in these types of environments.

We had 100sf, a budget of "as-cheap-as-possible," and tons of rental restrictions--but good design always starts with a little problem solving, right?
I infused the space with lots of neutral colors and tons of texture to keep it warm. I threw in my favorite vintage pieces, a big oversized paper lantern, and a bookshelf bar for some soul. & just like that, it's our favorite spot in town.

Lars Remodeling & DesignThe completely reimagined floorplan included relocating the kitchen and Master Suite to the opposite side of the home to take better advantage of the views and natural light. All bathrooms and the laundry room were completely remodeled along with installing new doors, windows, and flooring throughout the home and completely upgrading all electrical and plumbing.
The end result is simply stunning. Light, bright, and modern, the new version of this home demonstrates the power of thoughtful architectural planning, creative problem solving, and expert design details.
House of ShadesWe provided our customer who suffers with sleep problems a solution that features enhanced light control in the bedroom with Motorized Double Roller shades that switch between blackout and sheer options and completed the room darkening effect additionally with adding blackout drapery on a decorative traversing rod allowing for easy operation. The three layers of window treatments also help reduce any outside noise, as well as increasing the energy efficiency of the house which helps reduce the cost of heating and cooling the house .We solved for a tranquil quiet and dark space for good night sleep while adding a touch of warmth and design aesthetic to the space.

The ceiling was re-textured and additional recessed lights were added to complete the new airy atmosphere. Reconfiguring the appliance locations also added a great deal of functionality as did the new enlarged island with built-in cabinets for storage and sink. Stoett ScreensHaving a restaurant on the shores of the St. Joe River ensures sunny summer days and unforgettable sunsets. Outdoor dining has been critical to a restaurant’s success over the last few years. Having that success depends on the weather in Michigan meant that the Inn at Harbor Shores needed to find a solution that meant continued use of their outdoor space when the weather wasn’t cooperating. Finding an aesthetically pleasing solution didn’t hinder the views and that fit the upscale feel of the Inn became a priority. Stoett’s PanoraKinetic glass wind barrier solved that problem.

Shoshi Designsthe living room overall layout had to connect to the outdoors whish we tried to enhance with the interesting colors and patterns , we solved the light problem with multiple lighting scenarios including cove lighting in the ceiling. these help direct the light source to the activity that is tking place. next, we had to take care of the seating arrangements since this area functions as many, with the tv and home theater surrounding as the main activity taking place and the rest ar satelites.
