Tilton Library in Deerfield, MA presented us with one of those Maria moments. How to cover the arched portion of a Palladian window? More UV protection and temperature control where still needed. The available product solutions for shaped windows just wouldn't do. Working in collaboration with Jack Cennamo from JC Woodworking in Chesterfield, MA and Landmark Window Fashions in Holbrook, MA we were able to design a solution that works seamlessly with the existing roller shades. While homes in the urban wildlife interface (UWI) face greater fire dangers, homeowners can choose to make them much safer. By conscientiously addressing architectural vulnerabilities (home hardening), homeowners protect firefighters and reduce their chances of losing a home. Homeowners in Stuart, FL noticed that there were some cracks forming on their pool deck. They were concerned that the problem would worsen, so they called Florida foundation Authority for help. We used the PolyLevel system to pump a light-weight polyurethane foam under the concrete to fill the voids underneath and level the concrete. The homeowners chose to have us protect the entire pool deck with the foam so it will not continue to shift or sink.
