We went with a minimalist, clean, industrial look that feels light, bright and airy. The island is a dark charcoal with cool undertones that coordinates with the cabinetry and transom work in both the neighboring mudroom and breakfast area. White subway tile, quartz countertops, white enamel pendants and gold fixtures complete the update. The ends of the island are shiplap material that is also used on the fireplace in the next room.
In the new mudroom, we used a fun porcelain tile on the floor to get a pop of pattern, and walnut accents add some warmth. Each child has their own cubby, and there is a spot for shoes below a long bench. Open shelving with spots for baskets provides additional storage for the room.

Transforming this small bathroom into a wheelchair accessible retreat was no easy task. Incorporating unattractive grab bars and making them look seamless was the goal. A floating vanity / countertop allows for roll up accessibility and the live edge of the granite countertops make if feel luxurious. Double sinks for his and hers sides plus medicine cabinet storage helped for this minimal feel of neutrals and breathability. The barn door opens for wheelchair movement but can be closed for the perfect amount of privacy.

This inviting living space features a custom-built library with floor-to-ceiling shelving crafted from warm wood tones. The shelves are filled with a curated collection of books and decorative objects, adding personality and visual interest to the space. A plush, curved sofa upholstered in taupe velvet sits opposite the bookshelves, providing ample seating for relaxation and conversation. A large, round leather ottoman serves as a coffee table and a comfortable footrest. A vintage rug with a subtle pattern anchors the seating area, while a swivel chair upholstered in brown leather provides additional seating and a touch of mid-century modern flair. The overall effect is a cozy and sophisticated space, perfect for curling up with a good book or enjoying a lively conversation with friends and family.

Glen envisioned a well-lit, spacious kitchen with ample storage and a layout designed for daily convenience. Creating an inviting and functional kitchen was the primary focus.
We started by removing the small wall by the pantry area. This change improved the flow between the kitchen and living areas, making the space feel larger and more inviting while providing additional storage and allowing for symmetry around the stove.
Waypoint cabinets in Painted Linen created a bright and fresh look. Storage upgrades included roll-out trays, a trash/recycling pull-out, a Lazy Susan, and a stainless steel tilt-out tray under the sink. Pantry shelves were also customized for better organization.
A stunning quartz countertop from Arizona Tile’s Della Terra Quartz line in Everest was installed. Two waterfall edges and a 10-inch overhang for additional seating enhanced the island's visual appeal.
For the backsplash, Glen chose Glass Mosaic Winter Morning tiles, installed in a brick lay with a 50% offset. This reflective surface helped amplify the brightness of the kitchen while complementing the overall color palette.
A new Delta Lorelai undermount stainless steel workstation sink was added, along with a Moen Align matte black kitchen faucet. The garbage disposal was reinstalled, with its switch conveniently relocated under the sink for better accessibility.

Embracing an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen was one of the primary objectives for these New Jersey clients. They envisioned bending traditional hand-craftsmanship and modern amenities into a chef inspired kitchen. The woodwork in adjacent rooms help to facilitate a vision for this space to create a free-flowing open concept for family and friends to enjoy.
This kitchen takes inspiration from nature and its color palette is dominated by neutral and earth tones. Traditionally characterized with strong deep colors, the simplistic cherry cabinetry allows for straight, clean lines throughout the space. A green subway tile backsplash and granite countertops help to tie in additional earth tones and allow for the natural wood to be prominently displayed.
The rugged character of the perimeter is seamlessly tied into the center island. Featuring chef inspired appliances, the island incorporates a cherry butchers block to provide additional prep space and seating for family and friends. The free-standing stainless-steel hood helps to transform this Craftsman-style kitchen into a 21st century treasure.

True European-style frameless, flat-fronted cabinets are a highlight of this modern kitchen design. Caesarstone quartz countertops and stainless steel cabinet pulls complete the contemporary look, as does the island, which features a “waterfall” Caesarstone countertop: the draping allows for additional legroom for comfortable in-kitchen dining. Also featured, stainless steel appliances and sink, recessed lighting. The stainless steel cooktop backsplash includes two appliance garages, providing additional hideaway storage. This Cape Cod-style bathroom features a double vanity that blends classic design with functional elegance. The vanity itself is a prominent feature, with its clean, white cabinetry and polished hardware. It includes two separate sink areas, each with a white countertop and a mirror above. Between the two sinks, a central tower cabinet provides additional storage, featuring both a tall cabinet and a set of four drawers below it.
The lighting adds to the room's traditional aesthetic, with two elegant wall sconces placed between the mirrors. Each sconce has a white shade and a polished metal backplate, providing a warm and balanced light. The walls are finished with classic wainscoting, which adds texture and a coastal feel to the space.
On the left side of the vanity, a freestanding tub is visible, hinting at a larger, luxurious bathroom layout. On the right, a glass-paneled sliding door leads to what appears to be a shower, suggesting a well-organized and modern-functional space. The flooring is a light, natural stone tile, which complements the overall color palette and adds to the serene, spa-like atmosphere.

The Inverness Bathroom remodel had these goals: to complete the work while allowing the owner to continue to use their workshop below the project's construction, to provide a high-end quality product that was low-maintenance to the owners, to allow for future accessibility, more natural light and to better meet the daily needs of both the husband's and wife's lifestyles.
The first challenge was providing the required structural support to continue to clear span the two cargarage below which housed a workshop. The sheetrock removal, framing and sheetrock repairs and painting were completed first so the owner could continue to use his workshop, as requested. The HVAC supply line was originally an 8" duct that barely fit in the roof triangle between the ridge pole and ceiling. In order to provide the required air flow to additional supply vents in ceiling, a triangular duct was fabricated allowing us to use every square inch of available space. Since every exterior wall in the space adjoined a sloped ceiling, we installed ventilation baffles between each rafter and installed spray foam insulation. This project more than doubled the square footage of usable space. The new area houses a spaciousshower, large bathtub and dressing area. The addition of a window provides natural light. Instead of a small double vanity, they now have a his-and-hers vanity area. We wanted to provide a practical and comfortable space for the wife to get ready for her day and were able to incorporate a sit down make up station for her. The honed white marble looking tile is not only low maintenance but creates a clean bright spa appearance. The custom color vanities and built in linen press provide the perfect contrast of boldness to create the WOW factor. The sloped ceilings allowed us to maximize the amount of usable space plus provided the opportunity for the built in linen press with drawers at the bottom for additional storage. We were also able to combine two closets and add built in shelves for her. This created a dream space for our client that craved organization and functionality. A separate closet on opposite side of entrance provided suitable and comfortable closet space for him. In the end, these clients now have a large, bright and inviting master bath that will allow for complete accessibility in the future.

The expansive new kitchen is a dramatic change from the original galley room. The clients wanted a modern design, an island for food prep and more storage.
Two types of slab front cabinet doors add interest to the room. One is a dark Wenge wood. As a contrast, the other is a sleek glossy white finish. Subtle long thin Ikea pulls complete the look.
The 42-inch high island is actually bar height, but suits the tall homeowners. The island has cabinet storage, open shelves, a large expanse of quartz countertop, and room for two stools.
To maintain a clean, modern look, we hid the kitchen outlets below the countertop edge (as seen in the island above) or under the wall cabinets.
The clients selected Bosch stainless steel appliances, including a cooktop and a wall oven. Recessed down lights on dimmers provide light throughout the kitchen addition. A side window in the alcove provides additional natural light.

The cabinets we used in this warm and welcoming kitchen are our DeWils Millsboro Cherry line in Cinnamon. They paired beautifully with cream Granite counter tops in Bordeaux. A beautiful back splash with slate accents enhances the kitchen with special border detail at the stove. We also added under cabinet lights, above cabinet lighting, and replaced the window over sink completing this gorgeous kitchen.
