This Naperville kitchen had some BIG changes. From the ceiling to the floor, everything was transformed. Soffits were removed, and also a small closet, which opened up the kitchen space. New lighting, moldings and interior doors elevated the look. And finally, new hardwood floors installed throughout complete the updated framework.
For this new space we chose lovely Cherry cabinets from Kemper. The transitional Wolcott door style bridges the more modern family area with the formal living spaces. The classic chestnut tones blend perfectly with the existing furniture. Finishing the look is a traditional tall crown, adding detail at the ceiling. Though the room is not huge, thoughtful storage options make the most of the space. On the wall that previously held the small closet, a buffet piece was designed. This carries our wood tones through the space, provides more storage, and offers the perfect opportunity for a display piece. The antique glass doors are a subtle touch of texture.
The next layer is the beautiful Cambria countertops. The soft, neutral tones allow the cabinetry to be the star, while the random variations in pattern add interest, and pull together our color palette. In keeping with the brown tones, an Espresso quartz sink was used, as well as Vintage Bronze hardware, and classic brown leather stools. The slightly irregular handmade tiles used for the backsplash add texture without being distracting. Overall, the blending of rich wood tones and neutral surfaces creates a warm yet light and open space – a perfect place for the family to gather!

This striking custom-crafted industrial buffet offers a commanding presence, blending a heavy-duty dark welded steel skeleton with the rich, natural grain of solid wood. The piece is finished with a beautiful solid wood countertop and matching side panels, providing a warm, organic contrast to the robust metal framework.
Designed for maximum storage and visual impact, the highly functional layout features a top row of three steel-framed solid wood drawers accented with sleek modern bar pulls. Below, the center section includes solid wood double doors sitting above an additional lower drawer. This central column is elegantly flanked by two large cabinet compartments, each enclosed by tall custom doors featuring industrial expanded metal mesh inserts. The heavy steel framing around every individual door and drawer front adds bold architectural depth and highlights the premium craftsmanship of this versatile statement piece.

For this luxurious bathroom design, the spacious layout features a blend of warm wooden elements and sleek, contemporary finishes. The double-sink vanity, crafted from light wood, provides ample storage with its multiple drawers and cabinets. The clean lines of the vanity are complemented by white countertops, offering a crisp and clean surface. Above the vanity, two large rectangular mirrors with minimalist black frames add height and depth to the space. Flanking the mirrors, subtle wall-mounted lights enhance visibility without overpowering the soft ambiance. Central to the room’s lighting design are the striking hanging pendant lights. These fixtures, with their black metal framework and exposed bulbs, create a focal point. The freestanding bathtub, with its sleek, curved lines, serves as a statement piece. Positioned near a large frosted glass window, it allows for both natural light and privacy. Adjacent to the bathtub, the walk-in shower features wooden slat flooring that seamlessly transitions into the main floor. The shower's minimalist fixtures in brushed metal maintain the bathroom's contemporary aesthetic. A touch of greenery is introduced with a potted plant placed near the vanity, bringing a hint of nature into the room. The large abstract art pieces on the walls incorporate shades of green, tying together the natural elements with the room’s color palette. The combination of wood, glass, and metal materials throughout the space creates a harmonious balance of textures.

The fully outfitted home gym was designed as a high-performance fitness space that reflects the industrial-modern character of the home. Exposed steel beams painted in a bold blue tone bring energy and personality to the space while expressing the structural framework overhead. Tall ceilings accommodate a full range of exercise equipment and create an open, motivating environment for workouts of all types. Durable rubber flooring provides comfort, resilience, and functionality for strength training and fitness activities. A garage-style door opens directly to the yard, allowing fresh air and natural light to flow into the space while creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection for workouts. The combination of exposed structure, bold material choices, and functional planning creates a dynamic and purposeful wellness space.

Our Customer wanted to add an additional bathroom in basement to accommodate her growing family. Basements are often an overlooked and underutilized area of the home. With careful design considerations for a basement remodel, the once cold and dark underground space can go from dark and scary to warm and inviting. Whether you are looking to completely remodel your space or increase your footprint by adding in a bathroom to your basement, there are countless transformation ideas to meet your family needs.
We created a comfort and style bathroom with a rustic feel laundry room in this dark and unfinished area of the basement. This simple basement laundry room was transformed by continuing the reclaimed wood-look tile floors, off-white paint and multipurpose laundry rooms sink. Cozy decorative accents like a whitewashed barn door and painting the framework and ceiling gave this space a rustic feel the Customer wanted. The Whitewash barn door added a distinctive rustic look, while providing dual function of privacy and decor without taking up extra space.

The existing pool created the framework for this contemporary landscape in Lawrence Park. Credit Valley flagstone and walling stone are a staple for Toronto landscaping. The matching red brick ties the cabana structure into the house giving this landscape a seamless approach in its execution.

Creating this open airy master retreat involved removing a space consuming corner W.C. and an awkwardly deep linen closet. Using tall glass panels to separate the shower and toilet gives privacy while maintaining the newly acquired spaciousness. The glass panels transition from frosted around the toilet to clear around the roomy barrier free shower. By reducing the original closet opening, we gained necessary wall space for a modern freestanding tub. Tall cabinets provide plenty of storage space for linens and toiletries. A pair of pull-out cabinets – one on each side of the sink – conceal convenient grooming stations. An extra wide sink can easily accommodate two and still leaves plenty of counterspace on either side. The large mirror is mounted to a shallow framework concealing recessed lighting and softly illuminating the wall behind. The faucets and hand-held shower feature a knurled detail lending a bit of biker industrial to the modern surroundings. Access to the walk-in-closet is through a clean open doorway, while a wide modern style barn door slides open on the master bedroom side.

The Kitchen features Bertch cabinetry with the "Quincy” inset doorstyle for the upper cabinets & the “Lexington” full-overlay doorstyle for the rest. The perimeter cabinetry in “White” provides contrast with the “Cobalt” island. Stainless steel Kitchenaid 30" double wall ovens provide lots of cooking capacity.

These South Shore of Boston homeowners desired a larger kitchen as their existing had limited space to host family events and entertain guests – they turned to Renovisions to help transform their small, outdated kitchen with separate walk-in pantry into a beautiful, open and spacious inspirational room.
Choosing the right cabinetry for the room and how to meet the needs of the client was critical to the overall success of this design. A traditional style was the framework of the home and the flat paneled doors on the white painted cabinetry support this aspect. Going vertical as possible with cabinets is a trend here to stay; keeping with that idea, we recommended the graceful tall pantry cabinet that flanks one side of the kitchen. This not only lends to an eye-appealing furniture-look, but adds significant storage space, allowing the cabinets to store items they may not use on a regular basis. In this case, the clients are amazed with the amount of storage they’ve gained and one that provides easy access to all interior items. Every inch of space was key to create this optimally functional kitchen. Must-haves such as tray dividers above the refrigerator are handy and the double pull-out trash/recycling bins on the right side of the sink were a simple and clean way to gain floor space and conceal unsightly trash.
The focal point of this kitchen is the expansive, soft-grey colored contrasting island with larger, deeper drawers for pots, pans and platters. The client was excited to switch to an induction chef-series range that featured a divided oven that can accommodate two different temperatures.
Fit and finish is important in any renovation and this certainly holds true in this kitchen project to personalize their space. The custom recessed panel columns with wainscot details add an architectural element that ties into the kitchen cabinet design and Carrera-look quartz countertops which provide a stunning classical look that ties nicely with the overall traditional style. These homeowners are excited to show off their open and spacious Renovision!
“We really enjoyed our new kitchen and it’s amazing improvement over the holidays. We got rave reviews from all of our guests!”
