Custom Roman shades on the windows help to finish off the room and give privacy and light control when needed. The Schumacher fabric color combination was like it was made for this room and we were so happy to find it as one of our final details for finishing off this kitchen. The original vanity was given a face lift; new doors, drawers, and hardware blend well with the gray of the concrete counter top and tiles.
The original tall linen cabinet on the right of the vanity was removed and a new cabinet made shorter in its place that now has more functioning storage; drawers and a pull out hamper. This also changed the feel of the space as it opened up the corner as you enter the space.

This beautiful master bathroom remodel is a true reflection of my clients unique artistic style; eclectic elegance with a touch of spa retreat. When I found the zebra tiles we used on the back shower wall, they called her name!

From a dark dated kitchen to a light and bright charming space my client's love to use. Creating two L-shaped work areas and moving the location of the sink and major appliances makes for a more functional space where the old kitchen was lacking. The owners of this inner- SE Buckman beauty wanted to reinvigorate the home's historic 1913 charm while tastefully balancing clean, contemporary design with deep energy upgrades. Green Hammer met the challenge with an expanded gourmet kitchen, fine woodwork, reclaiming the attic for a bedroom suite and yoga space with views of the Portland skyline and all the accouterments of a great Green Hammer project like heat recovery ventilation, comprehensive energy and weatherization upgrades, and a rooftop solar array.

Tucked away in the backwoods of Torch Lake, this home marries “rustic” with the sleek elegance of modern. The combination of wood, stone and metal textures embrace the charm of a classic farmhouse. Although this is not your average farmhouse. The home is outfitted with a high performing system that seamlessly works with the design and architecture.
The tall ceilings and windows allow ample natural light into the main room. Spire Integrated Systems installed Lutron QS Wireless motorized shades paired with Hartmann & Forbes windowcovers to offer privacy and block harsh light. The custom 18′ windowcover’s woven natural fabric complements the organic esthetics of the room. The shades are artfully concealed in the millwork when not in use.
Spire installed B&W in-ceiling speakers and Sonance invisible in-wall speakers to deliver ambient music that emanates throughout the space with no visual footprint. Spire also installed a Sonance Landscape Audio System so the homeowner can enjoy music outside.
Each system is easily controlled using Savant. Spire personalized the settings to the homeowner’s preference making controlling the home efficient and convenient.

After -This compact kitchen may be small, but what lacks in size does not lack in charming details. Once we finalized the plan layout of the kitchen we were able to make the finishing details come to life. We relocated the refrigerator which had been tightly tucked next to the stove to make room for a centered range with hood and allow for cabinetry on this side of the kitchen. This created two working L shapes within our confined space. The new farmhouse style sink was re-positioned underneath the backyard window to take advantage of the view and create a focal point as you enter the kitchen from the dining room. Custom tiles hand-made in California were selected for the backsplash. A gray Quartz in Cambria Carrick was used for the countertops.
