Monarch's Pure copper Lotus rain chain with 18" anchoring basin and gutter adaptor. As a large cup style rain chain, it is able to transport heavy rain fall efficiently. It can be used in lieu of plastic downspout to transport water from the gutter. The gutter adaptor is used to funnel the water from the gutter into the cup efficiently and smoothly.

Striking a modern pose thru simplicity. Rain chains inspire creativity as well as practical solutions for the home. This homeowner terminated their rain chains into a strawberry pots filled with river rocks. It is a simple solution to managing the runoff.

Metzger Design worked along side Bellevue Homes - a local developer/builder of high-end residential projects on this project. A rewarding process from the start - Bellevue Homes provided a clear concept for this 4,000 sf Craftsman style home and retained us to refine the massing and construction details. The home features a spacious great room and kitchen area with a dynamic loft area above, first floor master suite, and a general flow and openness well suited for modern living and entertaining. Additional outdoor living spaces are created with oversized front and rear porches and a cozy courtyard formed within the space between the main structure and carriage house. Steam shower, with patterned tiles exiting the shower. Tiles: Cosmos Flooring Stone two-sided fireplace with up lighting underneath the top stone. Hardwood floors in the formal living room, porcelain wood grain tiles for the kitchen, dining, wine cellar and exterior patio. Pool and backyard landscaping are the only previous features that remained from the original home, minus a few walls on the interior and newly installed waterless grass for the ground cover. Designed with a standing seam metal roof, with internal drainage system for hidden gutters design. Rain chain and rain barrels for rain harvesting. Retrofitted with Hardy Frames prefabricated shear walls for up to date earthquake safety.
