When I originally met with the client in their home they told me that they wanted this to be an absolutely beautiful bathroom. As we designed the space I knew we needed a starting point to build from and I showed them Cambria Galloway Quartz Counter-top. I knew from talking to them that this could work really well for the space. They fell in love with it. We carried the sample with us through the entire design process. The whole bathroom color pallet came from the counter. We added the Galloway in the shower and in the steam room to keep the same feel and color palette. The homeowner was blown away and totally is in love with the entire bathroom.

Moss Rock mosaic real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill creates a stunning renovated fireplace in this cozy living room. Moss Rock is a rocky mountain fieldstone with beautiful earthy brown tones. The fieldstone is hand-picked and sawn to a depth of approximately one-inch thick. The sawing process creates the thin stone veneer. The stone has lichen growing on it which adds unique colors and textures to the natural stone. With its irregular mosaic pattern, Moss Rock is most commonly used on cabins, lodges and country homes. This natural stone veneer is great for rustic inspired projects but the possibilities are endless. The stone appears earthy brown when you see it from a distance, however, upon closer inspection there is great color variation from soft tans to whites and hints of green.

That same warmth carried outside, where an outdoor lounge with a fireplace and dining area made sure guests felt welcomed the moment they stepped out. A Backyard Built for Real Rest Every corner of the backyard was designed with one goal: to be the ultimate outdoor retreat. The elevated, white-brick-framed pool and integrated spa hot tub gave them a place to truly exhale. As the sun set, the fire pit lounge next to the pool became the hangout spot when they hosted their youth groups and family gatherings. Room to Grow With kids in the house, “custom” had to also mean flexible. Our clients had 2 young sons and needed their rooms to grow with them through the years. The two bedrooms and a full bath sat beside a loft that served as both their hangout-and-homework spot. The guest suite sat on the same level where a four-poster bed, floor-to-ceiling wood-look tile, and a frameless glass shower welcomed their guests from day one. Nichiha NichiBoard 8-1/4" Fiber Cement Lap Siding pre-finished in a natural wood stain color using a proprietary process that cannot be duplicated in the field. This material has been factory finished to our color Beechnut which is a light yellow/brown color with dark accents. The deep wide cedar grain texture on the NichiBoard allows the darker accents to collect which provides a unique simulated wood finish. The satin sheen of the finish helps with the realistic tone on the final product making it look like real wood without all of the maintenance.

The Quarry Mill's London real thin stone veneer adds a cozy feel to this outdoor fireplace, covered patio, and pool area. London is one of our more popular natural thin stone veneers with its undeniable rustic beauty. The thin stone is cut from natural hand-picked fieldstone. After the fieldstone is collected from centuries-old fence lines, it is squared up with the hydraulic presses. This process of chopping the naturally irregular fieldstone into the more formal squares and rectangles adds another element of visual appeal. London has heavy variations in the colors but primarily consists of a blend of earth tones. This color variation comes from the individual pieces of stone and where they were located within the pile on the fence line.

The client wanted a real focal point and conversation piece behind the bar that was a custom one off design. The solution? Hire a local photographer to capture images of the lake during the day, night, shore line, cliff top and on the water. This whole process created some great artwork for the rest of the house and made it a one off piece of art. The artwork is mounted on a thin piece of aluminum that is wall mounted only 1/2" off the wall - it caused this artwork to appears as though its floating.

This shot was taken during the finishing process. This is is near the bottom of the media console but this close up shows you just how incredible walnut wood really is. This is a good representation of the kind of detail that your eye picks up in real life but is rarely shown on the camera.

The Quarry Mill's Smokey Gold natural low height ledgestone thin stone veneer creates stunning and stately pillars and wainscoting on this home's front entrance. Smokey Gold real stone veneer is a natural low height ledgestone. The stone itself is a natural quartzite and the thin veneer is cut from the edges of the sheets of stone as they are quarried. The process of sawing the raw stone into natural thin veneer turns the diamond blade bright red due to heat that is generated and the density of the natural quartzite. Smokey gold is predominantly gold but also showcases some grey and white pieces giving it a subtle range of color. The textures are mainly smooth with some rippling. Although all of our natural stone veneers are high density, low water absorption, and approved for use in all climates, Smokey Gold is exceptionally hard and sturdy.
