This 1916 home received a complete Renovation of the existing 3-seasons porch which was added by a prior owner. Included is a new entry functioning as a mudroom and a 3/4 bath with laundry on the first floor, something the home was lacking.

A contemporary new home in an earthy, natural palette No expense was spared in the remodel of this 3/2, located in the amazing neighborhood of Eagle Rock. By taking the entire home down to the studs, we rearranged the kitchen, designed and built all new custom cabinetry, added custom built-ins in the primary, added all new windows and doors to the home and also ran new electrical and removed ALL GAS from the home. The 2 bathrooms were both overhauled and received zellige, kitkat and travertine tiling. A brand new HVAC system (including a heat pump) was installed in the attic and all vents were moved from the floor to the ceiling. Hardwood flooring and many other custom details have this home well suited for years to come!

This room received a make-over to better reflect the homeowner's sense of style. New hand-scraped Acacia wood floors, recessed lighting, and the distinctive overhead fan create a fresh look. KraftMaid cabinets provide attractive storage and built-in desks for art projects, These lucky kids now have an inviting space to hang out, do crafts, and watch movies.

We converted what used to be this home’s master bedroom suite into a study and home office. We really enjoyed creating the built in book shelves for this study. These custom units feature open and adjustable shelving, and full roll out drawers for bottom storage. Connected to the study is a quiet home office and a powder room. Red oak hardwood floors run throughout the study and office. This light and airy home in Chadds Ford, PA, was a custom home renovation for long-time clients that included the installation of red oak hardwood floors, the master bedroom, master bathroom, two powder rooms, living room, dining room, study, foyer and staircase. remodel included the removal of an existing deck, replacing it with a beautiful flagstone patio. Each of these spaces feature custom, architectural millwork and custom built-in cabinetry or shelving. A special showcase piece is the continuous, millwork throughout the 3-story staircase. On April 22, 2013, MainStreet Design Build began a 6-month construction project that ended November 1, 2013 with a beautiful 655 square foot addition off the rear of this client's home. The addition included this gorgeous custom kitchen, a large mudroom with a locker for everyone in the house, a brand new laundry room and 3rd car garage. As part of the renovation, a 2nd floor closet was also converted into a full bathroom, attached to a child’s bedroom; the formal living room and dining room were opened up to one another with custom columns that coordinated with existing columns in the family room and kitchen; and the front entry stairwell received a complete re-design. This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.
