The living room shows off the owner's love of music and some of the eclectic art pieces. This project involved Redecorating and Styling in a San Jose condo to bring together an eclectic mix of furniture, art, and accessories into a cohesive whole. This involved editing the pieces down as needed, purchasing new accessories as needed, and making it a stylish, yet comfortable, home overall.

This summer you're spending time at your cabin by the sea and before you move in for the season, you decide that the space needs a little redecorating. The walls get a refreshing coat of bright white paint, and you installed Italian made Blue Barrique wood plank porcelain flooring throughout. The light blue color of the porcelain tile is accented with tan streaks, giving the tile a genuine wood grain look. Not only does Blue Barrique wood plank porcelain look very much like hard wood flooring, but the texture of the tile is also very similar. Another plus of this tile is that it comes in four convenient sizes: 4X24, 8X24, 4X40 and 8X40, ensuring that it will be a perfect fir no matter where you choose to install it. Once the redecorating has been completed, you take a look around your sea side escape and couldn't be happier with you choice.

I was called into this home to re-decorate for the new owners. Although they loved the finishes that already existed in the home - floor stain, wall and ceiling colors, window treatments, there were a few things that didn't work for their family that needed to be changed. In addition, they needed all new furniture to fill this house that would reflect the coastal location, but remain traditional in style. I accomplished this with the exception of one surprise space!

Out of seven children, twin daughters Bellamy and Tallulah hold their own as the only girls in the bunch. When recent renovations included installing the elevator, all rooms needed to be slightly reconfigured. "Our girls are getting older so we were happy to bring in something new and redecorate", says Cortney. Now into their teens, the girls have redone their bedroom to reflect their growing sense of style and independence.
Above Tallulah's bed hangs a childhood portrait of her by Linda Mason. The upholstered bed frames are a recent purchase that add a decidedly feminine air to the space, while a brightly painted chair and striped draperies maintain a youthful punch.
Even with two designer parents, the girls are free to weigh in on what goes into their room. "It is definitely a collaboration", Cortney explains. "[Our daughter] Bellamy really enjoys designing and has a natural talent for it. All of our kids bring their own artistic sense into their spaces, after all, we want their spaces to reflect them, too."
