• Front Entryway of House 6 concrete and wood home.
House 6, is Cheng Design’s sixth custom home project, was redesigned and constructed from top-to-bottom. The project represents a major career milestone thanks to the unique and innovative use of concrete, as this residence is one of Cheng Design’s first-ever ‘hybrid’ structures, constructed as a combination of wood and concrete.

A mix of Yarrow, Kangaroo Paw, a Leucadendron for height and Osteospermum will add a variety of blossoms spring through fall with added texture through the year.

The lawn was greatly reduced throughout the backyard. Two very small sections remained for open pace use for the dogs. Low woolly thyme will fill out the greenery while the large slabs of flagstone moves throughout the space and connects the different spaces.

The flagstone path meanders to the back fence line for a small sitting area which looks back on the garden area.
