The nursery pictured in this article was the bedroom of this family’s first child, a girl, which we had previously designed for her in 2015, and with a few changes, is now the nursery for her little brother. The wallcoverings, light fixture, glider chair, and other furnishings all carried over from first to second, girl to boy. To update the room, we selected new drapery, in a fun, animal pattern, by Katie Ridder (via Holland and Cherry) and a beautiful high-quality wool rug from STARK, in a blue stripe that may stay relevant until college. Our clients wanted to stay true to the style of this 1930's home with their kitchen renovation. Changing the footprint of the kitchen to include smaller rooms, we were able to provide this family their dream kitchen with all of the modern conveniences like a walk in pantry, a large seating island, custom cabinetry and appliances. It is now a sunny, open family kitchen.

Can you spot the jungle?⁠⠀This is a DIY garden I designed conceptually and that was executed by the client based on my observations of what they like/not and their style of living, putting them in touch with the relevant suppliers I knew. What I love best though is their beautiful execution and loved the collaboration that occurred throughout the project and their continued dedication to its maintenance. ⁠⠀

In what was previously the master ensuite (now the bathroom for the young son), the homeowners wanted a bathroom that was appropriate for as a 5-year old, but contemporary enough to be relevant as he grew up. The flexible sink will bend with pressure and the tilting mirror can be moved as he grows. With only one painted wall and movable cabinets, his current favorite colors can easily change as his tastes change.
