Modern bathroom remodel in Woodinville By DHC.
we have perform the following tasks on this project:
Complete demolish, plumbing, electrical, framing, curbless shower pan, fine tile work and a perfect wall finish with a pop of a fun blue wall mount vanities and frameless glass panel to create a modern new spa place for our clients.

The removal of a shared wall between the kitchen and living room of this split level home led to an amazing transformation. The kitchen boasts Wynnbrooke Cabinetry in a painted white finish with Amerock satin nickel hardware. The stainless steel farm sink blends beautifully with the appliances. Cambria countertops in Torquay finish off the L-shaped cabinetry as well as the island which features deep drawers and pull out trash bins. The light finishes lend well to the new open floor plan.
The master bath was completely remodeled with all new cabinetry, countertops, fixtures and Constellation Black shower pan and panels with a subway tile look from The Onyx Collection. A full frameless glass door and enclosure makes the bathroom feel much larger. In the basement bath, a new Onyx lavatory and a new tub/shower combination updated the room.
A home salon was added to the lower level. New paint, doors and trim finished out this remodel. A few years before the interior remodel, Conant Construction was tasked with updating the exterior facade, adding a garage and making some upgrades to the deck.

2013 NARI CAPITAL COTY, MERIT AWARD WINNER, GREEN REMODELING INTERIOR
This couple wanted to update their kitchen and first floor, using environmentally-friendly products in the process. Making it green, safe and contemporary were the goals of this renovation.
The new kitchen layout with the center island has made getting around this central kitchen more possible. Taller, custom cabinetry has improved the overall storage and accessibility. The open concept design makes the space the hub of the home.
Green, safe and contemporary features make this project the jewel of the neighborhood. These features include:
• Use of custom-made Douglas Fir slab cabinetry (engineered wood veneer from younger growth trees) with low shin finish (low VOC water based finish) and kilned dried select hardwood frames construction without use of any formaldehyde glues.
• Use of no VOC paint on entire interior and exterior.
• Manufacturing and installing 12” x 12 ft x ¾” solid birch hardwood floor for entire first floor. This was finished with Low-VOC water based finish.
• Reuse of some of the existing lumber and plywood in the same project was essential.
• Installing LED recess lighting and task lighting with Lurton Home system lighting management and controllable low voltage dimmers.
• Installing high efficiency with the highest rating of Energy Star appliances.
• Installing high grade closed cell insulation in walls and open space, caulking and sealing all open gaps.
• Install large double pane-low E, argon filled gas windows.
• Use of air tight insulated duct chases on all new ducts.
The homeowners, who are active members of wildlife preservations, are pleased with green and environmentally safe kitchen and entire first floor project.

This Historical Home was built in the Columbia Country Club in 1925 and was ready for a new, modern kitchen which kept the traditional feel of the home. A previous sunroom addition created a dining room, but the original kitchen layout kept the two rooms divided. The kitchen was a small and cramped c-shape with a narrow door leading into the dining area.
The kitchen and dining room were completely opened up, creating a long, galley style, open layout which maximized the space and created a very good flow. Dimensions In Wood worked in conjuction with the client’s architect and contractor to complete this renovation.
Custom cabinets were built to use every square inch of the floorplan, with the cabinets extending all the way to the ceiling for the most storage possible. Our woodworkers even created a step stool, staining it to match the kitchen for reaching these high cabinets. The family already had a kitchen table and chairs they were happy with, so we refurbished them to match the kitchen’s new stain and paint color.
Crown molding top the cabinet boxes and extends across the ceiling where they create a coffered ceiling, highlighting the beautiful light fixtures centered on a wood medallion.
Columns were custom built to provide separation between the different sections of the kitchen, while also providing structural support.
Our master craftsmen kept the original 1925 glass cabinet doors, fitted them with modern hardware, repainted and incorporated them into new cabinet boxes. TASK LED Lighting was added to this china cabinet, highlighting the family’s decorative dishes.
Appliance Garage
On one side of the kitchen we built an appliance garage with doors that slide back into the cabinet, integrated power outlets and door activated lighting. Beside this is a small Galley Workstation for beverage and bar service which has the Galley Bar Kit perfect for sliced limes and more.
Baking Cabinet with Pocket Doors
On the opposite side, a baking cabinet was built to house a mixer and all the supplies needed for creating confections. Automatic LED lights, triggered by opening the door, create a perfect baker’s workstation. Both pocket doors slide back inside the cabinet for maximum workspace, then close to hide everything, leaving a clean, minimal kitchen devoid of clutter.
Super deep, custom drawers feature custom dividers beneath the baking cabinet. Then beneath the appliance garage another deep drawer has custom crafted produce boxes per the customer’s request.
Central to the kitchen is a walnut accent island with a granite countertop and a Stainless Steel Galley Workstation and an overhang for seating. Matching bar stools slide out of the way, under the overhang, when not in use. A color matched outlet cover hides power for the island whenever appliances are needed during preparation.
The Galley Workstation has several useful attachments like a cutting board, drying rack, colander holder, and more. Integrated into the stone countertops are a drinking water spigot, a soap dispenser, garbage disposal button and the pull out, sprayer integrated faucet.
Directly across from the conveniently positioned stainless steel sink is a Bertazzoni Italia stove with 5 burner cooktop. A custom mosaic tile backsplash makes a beautiful focal point. Then, on opposite sides of the stove, columns conceal Rev-a-Shelf pull out towers which are great for storing small items, spices, and more. All outlets on the stone covered walls also sport dual USB outlets for charging mobile devices.
Stainless Steel Whirlpool appliances throughout keep a consistent and clean look. The oven has a matching microwave above it which also works as a convection oven. Dual Whirlpool dishwashers can handle all the family’s dirty dishes.
The flooring has black, marble tile inlays surrounded by ceramic tile, which are period correct for the age of this home, while still being modern, durable and easy to clean.
Finally, just off the kitchen we also remodeled their bar and snack alcove. A small liquor cabinet, with a refrigerator and wine fridge sits opposite a snack bar and wine glass cabinets. Crown molding, granite countertops and cabinets were all customized to match this space with the rest of the stunning kitchen.
Dimensions In Wood is more than 40 years of custom cabinets. We always have been, but we want YOU to know just how much more there is to our Dimensions.
The Dimensions we cover are endless: custom cabinets, quality water, appliances, countertops, wooden beams, Marvin windows, and more. We can handle every aspect of your kitchen, bathroom or home remodel.

The goal of the homeowner was to modernize and make the existing kitchen more functional by adding storage, countertop work space, and better task lighting. Castle was able to design an updated kitchen that refaced and painted half of the cabinets and added new deeper cabinets in an L shape that helped meet the clients goals. White painted shaker style doors and slab drawers help compliment the locally made recycled glass countertops and white oak hardwood floors. Thanks to ample LED cabinet lighting the most noticeable feature of this updated kitchen is the local hand-made mid-century backsplash tile from Mercury Mosaics. A new ThermaTru fiberglass backdoor was also installed. Stainless steel LG appliances from Warner’s Stellian and classic chrome accessories and fixtures give the perfect finishing touches.
See this kitchen on the 2018 Castle Educational Home Tour, and while you’re at it, check out the previously remodeled basement / bathroom / laundry room which is also on tour!

This remodeled kitchen showcases a modern and elegant design highlighted by custom shaker-style cabinets with soft-close doors and drawers, providing both functionality and a timeless look. The upper and lower cabinetry is complemented by sleek gold hardware, giving the space a touch of warmth and sophistication.
The countertops are finished in a light quartz surface, extending into a full waterfall edge at the peninsula bar seating area, creating a seamless and luxurious flow. Behind the counters, a vertical subway-style tile backsplash in a muted green hue adds rich texture and contrast, enhancing the contemporary feel of the space.
A deep white farmhouse sink serves as a striking focal point beneath the kitchen window, paired with a modern pull-down faucet. Above the sink, a dedicated light fixture provides task lighting, while recessed LED lights and a ceiling fan ensure the kitchen is well-lit and comfortable. Special decorative sconces and open wood shelves on one wall add both charm and practicality for display and storage.

The soffit at the entrance of the kitchen was removed, creating a more open and inviting layout that visually expands the room. Custom doors have been installed to conceal the water heater closet, blending seamlessly with the cabinetry design.
High-end stainless steel appliances complete the remodel, including a professional-grade gas range with a vent hood, a built-in dishwasher, and a premium refrigerator with paneled sides to integrate into the cabinetry wall.
Overall, this remodel achieves a perfect balance of style, comfort, and practicality, with high-quality finishes and thoughtful design choices that elevate the kitchen into a refined yet welcoming heart of the home.

This remodeled laundry room blends functionality with refined design, transforming a practical space into a stylish and efficient area for daily tasks. Custom cabinetry provides ample storage for laundry essentials, cleaning supplies, and linens, keeping the space organized and clutter-free.
High-quality finishes, including stone countertops, sleek hardware, and durable flooring, make the room as visually appealing as it is practical. Thoughtful details such as integrated washer and dryer placement, folding surfaces, and utility sinks ensure the space works seamlessly for the household’s needs.
Bright, light-filled interiors and clean lines create a welcoming atmosphere, proving that even utilitarian spaces can benefit from luxury design and attention to detail.

Sweeney Design Remodel turned an aged and uninviting space into a bright and cheery kitchen. The kitchen was updated with new stainless steel appliances, including a stainless steel range hood. The dark cabinets were replaced with white custom cabinetry, topped with granite countertops, and complemented with a striking blue-gray ceramic tile backsplash. To further brighten the kitchen, the walls were accented with flattering blue-gray wall paint.
New red oak hardwood flooring gave the kitchen a chic, modern look without dramatically altering the coziness the homeowners wanted to preserve in their home. The ceiling can lights, under-cabinet lighting, and two focal-point pendants above the island addressed needs for both general and task lighting.
