The Finished Bathroom AFTER: A new large round mirror above the sink gave the room some much-needed personality and creates the illusion of more space. To install the new mirror I unscrewed the door of the old medicine cabinet from the wall. With the door gone I hung the mirror right over the recessed part of the cabinet, rendering it inaccessible for daily use, but luckily we’d added storage elsewhere. Next, I switched out the old light for this cool long-arm sconce. I feel pretty comfortable changing out light fixtures, but if you’re not, definitely hire a pro to help. Both of these simple changes are great solutions for renters! Just rehang the original light and the mirrored door when you leave. To finish things off, a couple of sleek new hooks were added to the wall for hanging towels or robes. Inspiration for a small modern open concept carpeted living room remodel in Salt Lake City with beige walls

In the quite streets of southern Studio city a new, cozy and sub bathed bungalow was designed and built by us. The white stucco with the blue entrance doors (blue will be a color that resonated throughout the project) work well with the modern sconce lights. Inside you will find larger than normal kitchen for an ADU due to the smart L-shape design with extra compact appliances. The roof is vaulted hip roof (4 different slopes rising to the center) with a nice decorative white beam cutting through the space. The bathroom boasts a large shower and a compact vanity unit. Everything that a guest or a renter will need in a simple yet well designed and decorated garage conversion.

These particular clients are from San Francisco and hired us to decorate their second home in Mission Beach. The goal of this project was to decorate in such a way that accommodated the family for their uses, and also renters while they are away. Window treatments, decor, bedding and furniture were strategically procured with both users in mind. Enjoy the pictures!

The living room's wood paneling was treated to a sand and polish, giving it new life. New sconces were added above the stone fireplace. The ceiling was treated with the same rich teal carried in from the entry hall, with an inset of gold leaf paper. An old fan was swapped for a mid-century sputnik, and mod sconces were added to the walls to brighten the room. While the client retained the original furniture, upholstered storage benches and throw pillows in CS Stockwell's classic Martinique print added a touch of the mid-century Polynesian style so renters can feel those vacation vibes.

My team and I organize a lot of reach-in and walk-in closets every week, and when I get a call for an entire room that needs to be turned into a closet, I squeal with delight. There are so many possibilities when you have an entire room with which to play. This client is a renter, so could not do much in the way of wall-damaging installation. That’s where the Container Store Freestanding Elfa system comes in – nothing is mounted to the wall. We worked with the Elfa jewelry organizing system and drawer dividers for undergarments. I suggest to roll & stack scarves instead of hanging. It takes up less space, doesn’t cause a crease in the material, and they are easy to grab without pulling.
