AC Replacement Gilbert | New Trane System Installed Client: Geoff Location: Gilbert, AZ (Clifton Ct area) Scope of Work: No-cool diagnostic, refrigerant leak traced to evaporator coil, full system replacement This AC replacement in Gilbert started as a service call. Geoff’s upstairs unit had stopped cooling, and our technician traced it to low refrigerant caused by a leaking evaporator coil. A leaking coil is a fork in the road. You can repair it, or you can put that money toward equipment that will not need the same conversation again in two years. Geoff chose to replace. We installed a Trane 3.5 ton AC gas system at 14.3 SEER2, with an estimated 10 to 15 percent energy savings over the old unit. The AC installation in Gilbert also included a Wi-Fi thermostat, a new emergency drain pan, a drain line flush, a water safety switch, a replacement electrical disconnect box and whip, sealed duct connections at the unit, and full disposal of the old equipment. Those extras are what separate a complete install from a swapped box. Coverage is strong: 10 year compressor warranty, 10 year parts, 5 year labor, and 5 years of maintenance totaling 10 visits.
