Nelson Exteriors completed a major external home remodel for me in 2024. The project consisted of repairing/replacing all damaged wood, installing all new siding, painting, replacing exterior doors, installing new shutters, upgrading gutters and reconfiguring the wall out to my deck into a 10 foot sliding glass door. The project was several weeks worth of work. The Nelson team was here every day on time and eager to work. The assigned team members were consistent throughout the entire project and were high quality carpenters. They were considerate of my property and kept the work areas clean and safe at all times. I am highly satisfied with the quality of work Nelson Exteriors completed on my home. Although everyone I encountered at Nelson was great, I need to specifically praise one individual member of the Nelson team. My project manager Joshua was amazing! Although assigned to other projects at the same time, he was always here when I needed him. I ask a lot of question and Joshua was patient and thorough when explaining the project details to me. He was very respectful of my home and my time. Joshua was an excellent communicator and kept me informed about the project status every day. Upon arrival each morning, he would check in with me to let me know what action was to be accomplished and at the end of the day, he would provide another update. By the end of the job, I considered Joshua a friend. I highly recommend Nelson Exteriors. Consider yourself lucky if you get the opportunity to work with Joshua!

The company was very professional and honest. There was no bait and switch and the work was exceptionally great. Perhaps a few too many people involved in the process, but overall, a job well-done.

Communication from all staff in this company is efficient and thorough. Work was done sooner than estimated. And workmanship on our replaced deck is excellent.

We had a wooden deck that was rotting. After 4 quotes, we decided on Nelson Exterior, and I’m so glad we did. The team worked hard to demolish our old deck, finding more rotting support beams that needed replacing and a board supporting our house. We were kept informed at every turn. They completed our composite deck before their projected time. The manager came back and fixed two minor things before we gave them any money. It is beautiful and so easy for us!

We had multiple quotes for what was extensive remodel and repair work done to our house. Nelson was not the cheapest, but they were far from the most expensive. We had all the windows in our house replaced, including a 5x7.5’ palladium window over our front door. We had the siding and deck on the back of our house replaced. We had our gutters and downspouts replaced and all the exterior trim repainted. Everything they said they would do was done efficiently and professionally and in the time frame they established. Their crews were amazing and worked hard, while working safely to get the job done. We were so impressed, about a week after the project started, we asked them if we could have a Nelson Exteriors yard sign put up, so others in our neighborhood would know who to call for their projects. We will definitely use them again as we continue to update and upgrade our house. We could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!

I cannot recommend Nelson Exteriors enough! We have used them for multiple projects beginning in 2014 for siding replacement, window replacement, and painting/trim replacement and their work has been consistently high quality. The are extremely professional and their prices are comparable to other quotes we’ve received.

We highly recommend Nelson Exteriors to anyone looking for exterior painting, roofing or general repair work. We just finished a project with Nelson which included roof replacement, carpentry repairs, and painting the whole house (including limewashing & distressing). The team did a fantastic job - we're very pleased with the results but also loved how professional, caring and detailed every employee was. They were patient with our decision making and really wanted us to be 100% satisfied. Jorge, the project manager, was phenomenal to work with - very honest, prompt and always had a great attitude. Beginning with Ryan who delinquently worked within my budget, we came in underbudget. Jorge de Angel, the contractor, was on site, easy to reach by phone, and took care of every concern throughout the project. Alex, the on-site lead painter, and his crew took care of painting the house, trim, shutters garage doors, deck screened porch and 16x20 art studio. They were on time and worked through the day until 6pm. I am so glad I choose Nelson Painting and would recommend they're entire staff for job well done.

My project manager and his team did a great job with the installation! I had windows replaced in my home. Jorge Del Angle did a great job making sure the issues were worked out. His team was polite and cleaned up after themselves. I got several bids for the windows, Nelson Exteriors had very competitive pricing.

Nelson Exteriors did an exceptional job on our 1957 ranch house. They replaced rotten soffits and fascia, painted all the woodwork, shutters and trim without spilling a drop of paint, installed a new, custom drip edge and gutters. The house looks new. The night after the new gutters had been installed, we had a massive rain storm. No leaks anywhere. The crews were courteous and efficient; the foreman Mr. Rodriguez knows his business and is a gentleman.

for stars are being generous. They fixed most of what I caught them doing wrong. They did a pretty fair job, but they sure cut some corners and got sloppy at the end. They had one quality person assigned to my project and he was in training - had been there about two months. They do not answer emails timely or at all. Their bid was competitive, but I believe it was their practice to do that and then upsell after they start. Their crews have to be watched. If not they will do the minimum required to survive the walkthrough and then look out. Spent the morning today redoing caulking that was done terribly -- wide gaps, holes, missed spots, etc. Would have not stopped water or bugs - thus rotted out again in a year or two. My house needs more work in the next year or two and I know I will not be calling back. There are much better companies out there I am sure.

I would recommend Nelson Exteriors as a company that is honest in finishing a job to your satisfaction. The carpenters and painters were friendly, skilled and professional. We had a couple of issues but with talking to each other was able to get the issue resolved better than what I had hoped for and had been willing to accept. Nelson Exteriors recently painted my house (August 2021), a 2-story traditional, 3 sides siding. They demonstrate great team work: from Sales Consultant, to Office Staff, to Project Manager, to the Painting Crew. All responses are prompt, courteous, and professional. Nelson did an outstanding job and paid attention to details! They kept us informed on the progress of the project and any issues they came across. Never tried to up sell us on anything and only informed us about issues that were really issues. Felt like I received the service and workmanship that I paid for. Every crew that came out was considerate, polite and did great work! They replaced siding and trim pieces that was rotten. They also replace all soffits and facia boards. They went above and added more soffit vents than was there to allow better attic ventilation. During the project they discovered a beam that was falling apart and our stone chimney was coming through the roof. They had did a great job on everything else we asked them to give us a quote as they had to replace the beam holding up the front porch, rebuild the chimney above the roof line and fix a hole in the roof. They did a terrific job and I feel very confident in the stability of our roof, chimney and front porch. Hope I don’t have anything for a long time but when I do I will be calling Nelson

Nelson Exteriots did a fantastic job every step of the way. The estimate was detailed. The sales rep followed up and answered all of our questions. The crews arrived on time, the oroject managers kept us informed of any problems encountered and worked with us to find the best solutions. They installed new siding, new front door, painted the exterior, and new gutters. I love seeing my neighbors slow down now as they drive past our home to admire the transformation.

Nelson Exteriors started my house within a week of signing the contract and finished siding, paint and gutters in two and a half weeks. They did a fantastic job and my house looks better than others in the neighborhood who got new siding from other companies.

We hit a glitch with some windows but an alternative was proposed and implemented. All windows look great! I appreciate the management expertise and team coordination provided. I recently had new windows installed by Nelson Exteriors. Project was quoted competitively. Windows are well made and installation was done in one day. Project manager was assigned providing one contact which made communication much easier. Installation scheduling was a little confusing but we got it all worked out. I had a couple issues with my windows and they are being addressed. Nelson definitely stands behind their warranty.

They recently installed new board & batten siding on our house and painted the entire exterior of our home. It looks amazing! We built our house about thirty years ago. Until recently I was the one that handled both exterior and interior maintenance. Well it took some time, but I finally realized that I needed to hire someone to handle our exterior. I did plenty of research and reading, held my breath and called Nelson. The phone contact was great and in just a couple days we had a visit from the Nelson rep. He explained the process carefully and took a close look at our house and explained the few small areas that might need some repair before painting. Before he left I had an email with the estimate. We reviewed the bid and gave Nelson a call. The repair crew came with the gentleman that would supervise the entire job. His first act was to take a very close look at the house, top down. He told us he had found a couple other repairs that should be done. Then he recalculated the repair bid and asked for our approval. The added work was very small so we gave our go ahead. That crew started and was done in about a half day. Next came the pressure washing and painting crew, again with the job supervisor. He explained what would be done and turned me over to the painting supervisor, The cleaning and painting crew worked very hard, but their supervisor always took time to let me know exactly what was being done and also answered every question I had. When the job was completed I reviewed all the work with the painting supervisor and then again with the overall job boss. A very few areas needed a little work and all was completed in a very reasonable time even with several weather interruptions. I'll continue handling the interior, but from now on Nelson can handle the outside.

I had a small residing job. From the estimate to final clean up the personnel were professional, communicating often and respectful of our time and needs. Will use them again.

We have received many compliments on our house after they completely repaired, resided and painted the entire outside of our home, to include door and window replacement. I obtained 4 estimates, and not only was Nelsons the least expensive, but they included several things the competition did not. Everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. The project manager came to the site every day, and talked to me numerous times while the house was being worked on to make sure we were all on the same page. I feel they went what I would consider "above and beyond" in their scope and duty. I would use them again without hesitation, and highly recommend them.

We had new gutters with the GutterGuard system installed. There was a miscommunication that initially resulted in us only having gutters installed, but Nelson Exteriors worked quickly and professionally to get it corrected. This involved completely removing and re-installing the whole system. The quality of the work was excellent on both installs, we just needed to be sure we got the correct product. Both the installers and the office staff at Nelson's were great! We found one downspout that was backing up a bit with the first big rainfall after the GutterGuard was installed but we were able to correct the issue with small tweaks to the positioning of the runoff hoses. We have several large trees that like to drop tons of leaves and seeds and all sorts of debris and we love knowing that we don't have to worry about any of it impacting our gutters thanks to GutterGuard!

I have been consistently pleased with the quality of workmanship, the ease of the estimate process, and the staff, who are friendly, courteous, and responsive.
