Skorpio Italian Glass Dining Table by Cattelan Italia Made in Italy The Skorpio by Cattelan Italia is a modern italian dining table. The dining table features regular rectangular or rectangular with rounded edges tabletop shape. The top of the Skorpio dining table is laid on the base and is made of a 0.6" thick tempered clear or extra clear glass. The base is available in white, black or graphite lacquered steel finish, fluorescent orange finish or in transparent coating on ferrous raw material. The presence of more or less obvious stains, color variations, scratches and irregular edges is feature of the special material processing and should not be considered a defect. The dining table Scorpio is available in twelve versions. Two versions are also available in extra clear glass with reversed beveled edges. The dining tables with sizes W72" x D35" and W79" x D42" feature a 0.5" thick tempered glass. When presented with the overall layout of the kitchen, this dining space called out for more interest than just your standard table. We chose to make a statement with a custom three-sided seated banquette. Completed in early 2020, this family gathering space is complete with storage beneath and electrical charging stations on each end. Underneath three large window walls, our built-in banquette and custom table provide a comfortable, intimate dining nook for the family and a few guests while the stunning oversized chandelier ties in nicely with the other brass accents in the kitchen. The thin black window mullions offer a sharp, clean contrast to the crisp white walls and coordinate well with the dark banquette, sprayed to match the dark charcoal doors in the home. The finishing touch is our faux distressed leather cushions, topped with a variety of pillows in shapes and cozy fabrics. We love that this family hangs out here in every season!

Great room - cottage great room idea in Austin

We helped stylish blogger Erin Hatzis - one half of Suburban Bitches - choose chairs for her new wood and iron dining room table from Restoration Hardware. The silver tabouret chairs she had paired with her old, farmhouse table just weren't working, and Erin needed sorting through the overwhelming number of options available online. She had her eye on the handwoven, antiqued zinc CB2 Reed chair, and Decorist suggested layering in two Pascal Modern Shell Chairs from Overstock (with a sheepskin overlay for added comfort!) to blend the mid-century elements she had in her living room. Inspiration for a mid-sized modern medium tone wood floor dining room remodel in San Francisco

This dining room is a great space for large gatherings. The soft colors make the room feel serene, but the pops of orange in the centerpiece and jewel colors in the artwork create some interest that tie things together. For this young couple, the lighting really needed to be unique and not seen in every new construction project. Cut velvet fabric on the back of dining chairs adds a cool texture and pattern to the space, while the leather seats make for maintenance friendly dining. The arched windows are framed by simple silk drapery panels to let in just enough light, and the custom light-colored rug creates a great anchor for the beautiful wood dining table.
