Jessica McClintock’s simply romantic personal style is the inspiration for this extensive collection of richly ornamented and detailed pieces for the home. The eclectic blending of materials and finishes adds even more romance and designer touches. The collection is crafted from Oak and Pecan Veneers, Silver Leaf, Metal and Marble. There are two core finishes – Baroque (dark) and White Veil (heavily distressed off white finish). White Veil, is an antique white wash that allows the wood grain to show through in some areas, while being more textured in others. The finish also has aged/distressed detailing that includes wormholes, water spotting, light brown splatter, rub through and worn edges. On most White Veil pieces, the tops are finished in our Revival finish. This is a raw, scrubbed finish on Pecan veneers that emulates an antique that has been stripped of its original finish. The darker, Baroque finish can be found on bedroom items. This finish is a cappuccino-colored worn finish with wire brushed details and antiqued glaze on Oak veneers.

Inspiration for a timeless living room remodel in New Orleans

The main space connects to a private conversation space for two where a small water feature is nestled among the plantings. Dappled shadows on the walkway add to the romance of this shot.

Pamela's living space is modern, elegant and a little bit Zen. Our job was to bring in a layer of comfy romance, so I focused on furnishing the space with mushy comfort, pure white slipcovers, warm woods, breezy linens and beautiful flowers, while respecting the modern edges. We used soft, white-linen-covered furniture, flowing linen gauze curtains to divide up the open plan spaces, flowers, of course, and a chandelier to add twinkle. In her previous home, Pamela's collection of beautiful books were displayed on open shelves in a chaotic but organized way, but the bookshelves did not translate and so we housed the entire collection in cabinets on either side of the fireplace behind heavy doors of reclaimed wood. Luxurious modern take on a traditional white Italian villa. An entry with a silver domed ceiling, painted moldings in patterns on the walls and mosaic marble flooring create a luxe foyer. Into the formal living room, cool polished Crema Marfil marble tiles contrast with honed carved limestone fireplaces throughout the home, including the outdoor loggia. Ceilings are coffered with white painted crown moldings and beams, or planked, and the dining room has a mirrored ceiling. Bathrooms are white marble tiles and counters, with dark rich wood stains or white painted. The hallway leading into the master bedroom is designed with barrel vaulted ceilings and arched paneled wood stained doors. The master bath and vestibule floor is covered with a carpet of patterned mosaic marbles, and the interior doors to the large walk in master closets are made with leaded glass to let in the light. The master bedroom has dark walnut planked flooring, and a white painted fireplace surround with a white marble hearth. The kitchen features white marbles and white ceramic tile backsplash, white painted cabinetry and a dark stained island with carved molding legs. Next to the kitchen, the bar in the family room has terra cotta colored marble on the backsplash and counter over dark walnut cabinets.
