The vintage look of these cabinet doors is achieved by using reclaimed material with evidence of previous use. We used a burnt umber glaze over white paint to highlight the naturally distressed material. Vintage hardware and half overlay cabinet doors are featured in this kitchen.

__ We had so much fun designing in this Spanish meets beach style with wonderful clients who travel the world with their 3 sons. The clients had excellent taste and ideas they brought to the table, and were always open to Jamie's suggestions that seemed wildly out of the box at the time. The end result was a stunning mix of traditional, Meditteranean, and updated coastal that reflected the many facets of the clients. The bar area downstairs is a sports lover's dream, while the bright and beachy formal living room upstairs is perfect for book club meetings. This loft is located in the Electra building, which is Downtown San Diego’s tallest residential tower. Electra stands 43 stories tall, and is an easy building to spot in the Columbia District on the corner of Kettner Boulevard and Broadway. Especially unique is the old façade of the historic San Diego Gas and Electric building incorporated into the bottom exterior of the building. The design of the loft is young and contemporary with an emphasis on comfort and warm materials.

A Gilmans Kitchens and Baths - Design Build Project (REMMIES Award Winning Kitchen) The original kitchen lacked counter space and seating for the homeowners and their family and friends. It was important for the homeowners to utilize every inch of usable space for storage, function and entertaining, so many organizational inserts were used in the kitchen design. Bamboo cabinets, cork flooring and neolith countertops were used in the design. Storage Solutions include a spice pull-out, towel pull-out, pantry pull outs and lemans corner cabinets. Bifold lift up cabinets were also used for convenience. Storage under and behind the bench was used to store pet items. Above the banquette is a gallery wall of the client's personal photography taken on favorite vacations. The pendant fixture adds a touch of modern glam and sparkle with its polished chrome shade and pleated crystal egg accents. A whimsical succulent tops the table and brings life to this space. This home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. Composed in mostly a neutral palette, the bones of this house are bathed in diffused natural light pouring in through the clerestory windows. Beautiful textures and the layering of pattern with a mix of materials add drama to a neutral backdrop. The homeowners are pleased with their open floor plan and fluid seating areas, which allow them to entertain large gatherings. The result is an engaging space, a personal sanctuary and a true reflection of it's owners' unique aesthetic. Inspirational features are metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Beverage Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, painted inset style cabinets by Gamma, moroccan CLE tile backsplash and quartzite countertops.

A mix of Bohemian, coastal and traditional styles converge to form this amazing Living/Dining room combination. I chose a white shiplap wall for a clean backdrop. All carpentry was custom made for the space, including the cozy built-in dining banquette for the perfect dinner party! Shades of blues pop everywhere, accented with greenish yellows. To round it off, a pair of gorgeous traditional side chairs that got an elegant new lease on life with a combo of beautiful fabrics. All of this is framed by a pair of macrame hanging side tables for just the right amount of Bohemian flair.

The existing cabinets, plumbing fixtures and appliances were removed and replaced. The L-shaped floorplan was retained, with slight modifications. The range was taken out of the island to free it up for prep-work. Sliding the seating area to the end of the island opened up the walkway through the kitchen. Rich Shaker-style cabinets, Stormy Quartz counter-tops and a variety of glass and stone mosaic tile give the kitchen a contemporary edge.
