This transitional kitchen features Waypoint’s Oat cabinets paired with a navy-painted island, creating a balanced and inviting look. The Oat finish brings a warm, soft neutrality to the perimeter, allowing the kitchen to feel open, light, and welcoming. The navy island adds depth and serves as a strong visual anchor, offering a rich contrast that elevates the overall design. Together, these finishes create a timeless blend of warmth, color, and clean lines—resulting in a kitchen that feels refined, comfortable, and beautifully cohesive.

This remodel began as a powder bathroom and hall bathroom project, giving the powder bath a beautiful shaker style wainscoting and completely remodeling the second-floor hall bath. The second-floor hall bathroom features a mosaic tile accent, subway tile used for the entire shower, brushed nickel finishes, and a beautiful dark grey stained vanity with a quartz countertop. Once the powder bath and hall bathroom was complete, the homeowner decided to immediately pursue the master bathroom, creating a stunning, relaxing space. The master bathroom received the same styled wainscotting as the powder bath, as well as a free-standing tub, oil-rubbed bronze finishes, and porcelain tile flooring.

MDF cabinetry painted Benjamin Moore “Decorator’s White” and Top Knobs “Channing” cabinetry hardware. Special features include a raised accent counter top for a designated seating area.

This project was about bringing a rustic home up to date using cabinetry and finishes that compliment the home. Walls were moved and doorways were widened to give the old space a new look. The addition of new cherry cabinetry, heated tile floors and the installation of stone around the range and island helped to complete the look. The newly remodeled bathrooms allow the homeowners to enjoy the feeling of living in an old space but enjoying the comforts of today.
