This fireplace used to be a wall of brick with a brick hearth to match! We covered the wall with white shiplap and covered the hearth with some detailed out white wood work and a black slab of stone on top. We brought in an antique timber for the mantle and secured it with these large bolts. It is a perfect combination of traditional and farmhouse decor. Just a little more refined. Home design - tropical home design idea in Los Angeles

We loved this project due to the uniqueness of the space, and the challenges it presented. We installed a 5.1 surround sound system using hidden speakers, as well as, a hidden tv that retracted seamlessly into the furniture. To make this system customer friendly, we custom programmed a universal remote eliminating the need for a basket full of remotes.

Situated on a double-lot of beach front property, this 5600 SF home is a beautiful example of seaside architectural detailing and luxury. The home is actually more than 15,000 SF when including all of the outdoor spaces and balconies. Spread across its 4 levels are 5 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, his and her office, gym, living, dining, & family rooms. It is all topped off with a large deck with wet bar on the top floor for watching the sunsets.
