Our team selected this dreamy wallpaper mural as the inspiration for the primary bedroom in this casually elegant home. The moody clouds of the mural are repeated in the artwork. On the bed, casual, yet stylish bedding welcomes our homeowners after a long day at work. A large wool rug and custom linen draw-draperies add style and privacy. We selected refined wood furniture pieces and an upholstered headboard and bench for a contrast of textures. Tall alabaster lamps and pale orange roses complete the casually elegant space.

The Estate by Build Prestige Homes is a grand acreage property featuring a magnificent, impressively built main residence, pool house, guest house and tennis pavilion all custom designed and quality constructed by Build Prestige Homes, specifically for our wonderful client. Set on 14 acres of private countryside, the result is an impressive, palatial, classic American style estate that is expansive in space, rich in detailing and features glamourous, traditional interior fittings. All of the finishes, selections, features and design detail was specified and carefully selected by Build Prestige Homes in consultation with our client to curate a timeless, relaxed elegance throughout this home and property. The master suite features gorgeous chandeliers, soft pink doors leading from the ensuite to the expansive WIR, marble arabesque laser cut heated floor tiles, gorgeous wall sconces fitted to custom bevel edged mirrors, Michelangelo marble bench tops with lambs tongue edge.

This classic black and white coastal 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home features Hardie shake shingles built to withstand the harsh coastal environment. The home is comprised of 3,648 sq ft of heated space and perfectly blends posh and playful styles, thoughtfully combining elegant interior selections mixed with fun patterned tile and pops of bright color throughout. Before purchasing their early 20th-century Prairie-style home, perfect in so many ways for their growing family, the parents asked LiLu whether its imperfections could be remedied. Specifically, they were sad to leave a kid-focused happy home full of color, pattern, texture, and durability thanks to LiLu. Could the new house, with lots of woodwork, be made brighter and lighter? Of course. In the living areas, LiLu selected a high-gloss turquoise paint that reflects light for selected cabinets and the fireplace surround; the color complements original handmade blue-green tile in the home. Graphic floral and abstract prints, and furnishings and accessories in lively shades of pink, were layered throughout to create a bright, playful aesthetic. Elsewhere, staircase spindles were painted turquoise to bring out their arts-and-craft design and heighten the abstract wallpaper and striped runner. Wallpaper featuring 60s-era superheroes, metallic butterflies, cartoon bears, and flamingos enliven other rooms of the house. In the kitchen, an orange island adds zest to cream-colored cabinets and brick backsplash. White Oak cabinets are a mainstay in many modern and contemporary homes. But this project riffs on the popular design in a new and refreshing way. A rich Bourbon stain, wire mesh cabinet door panels, and polished brass fixtures give this remodeled kitchen a refined and original look that’s not like the neighbors. The warm, expressive character of the oak creates a strong foundation for the space that makes it feel like home. One of the kitchen’s most distinctive details is the use of wire mesh in select cabinet doors. The translucent panels break up the expanse of wood while offering a glimpse of what’s inside, adding a subtle layer of texture and visual interest. Paired with the polished brass hardware and and carefully selected finishes, these details give the kitchen a refined, almost furniture-like quality. That’s especially apparent in the distinctly shaped kitchen island, designed to perfectly fit the space.

The teak wall features closet cabinetry beside the back door, tall pantry with roll out shelves, narrow broom cabinet and coffee station with floating teak shelves. The shortened range wall allows natural light to into more of the space and the blue subway stacked tile adds a rich addition of colour and shine. High lift and bi-fold cabinets plus spice pull out, internal roll outs and refuse cabinet give a terrific "behind the scenes" function space.

To this end, the homeowners selected A5h Windows and Doors with triple-pane glazing which offers argon-filled, low-E coated glass and warm edge spacers within an all-aluminum frame. The hidden sash option was selected to provide a clean and modern aesthetic on the exterior facade. Concealed hinges allow for a continuous air seal, while premium stainless-steel handles offer a refined contemporary touch.

An historic Spanish Colonial residence built in 1925 being redesigned and furnished for a modern-day Southern California family was the challenge. The interiors of the main house needed the backgrounds set and then a timeless collection created for its furnishings. Lifestyle was always a consideration as well as the interiors relating to the strong architecture of the residence. Natural colors such as terra cotta, tans, blues, greens, old red and soft vintage shades were incorporated throughout. Our goal was to maintain the historic character of the residence combining design elements and materials considered classic in Southern California Spanish Colonial architecture. Natural fiber textiles, leathers and woven linens were the predominated upholstery choices. A 7000 square foot basement was added and furnished to provide a gym, Star Wars theater, game areas, spa area and a simulator for indoor golf and other sports. Antiques were selected throughout the world, fine art from major galleries, custom reproductions fabricated in the old-world style. Collectible carpets were selected for the reclaimed hardwood flooring in all the areas. An estancia and garden over the basement were created and furnished with old world designs and materials as reclaimed woods, terra cotta and French limestone flooring.

This new construction home project in Massachusetts showcases a timeless New Colonial style with a modern twist. Partnering closely with the builder, we guided finish selections and lighting design throughout the property. Originally brought in for the exterior details, our scope expanded as the home was completely reconstructed and reimagined. From custom kitchen cabinetry and hardware to bathroom tile combinations, every design decision was made to create a cohesive and elevated look across the open-concept main floor and beyond. A key inspiration was the original river rock columns, preserved from the property’s former structure. Our interior material palette and finish selections were chosen to complement these features, grounding the new home in its historic roots while bringing fresh character to modern living.

The living room, although beautiful architecturally, needed a fresh design to modernize it both functionally and aesthetically. We began by adding a neutral yet subtle colored patterned wallpaper by Barclay Butera to set the tone for the space. We installed modern wall sconces by Visual Comfort and a statement mirror above the fireplace to highlight the existing fireplace and make it a focal point in the room. Another key design feature we added was painting the interior of the existing built in bookcases a rich blue allowing them to really pop. The blue tone ties in perfectly to the fabric we selected throughout the space. The blue and green floral Pindler window treatments are an unexpected pattern in this otherwise linear space - it is not only beautiful but adds so much personality to the space. For the seating, we selected a pair of swivel chairs that tie into the cohesiveness of the space and allows your eye to flow from one area of the room to the next seamlessly, while also allowing the family a cozy nook and additional seating. The striped velvet Camden Chair and Ottoman by Kravet provides a stylish lounge option. The dark green leather coffee table was custom designed locally and is the perfect place to set a drink down while enjoying time in the space. This living space is now beautifully updated, functional, and can accommodate many.
