This Master bathroom retreat features a spa like experience with a bathtub that has micro jets, tsbuo massage jetts, jaccuzzi jets, chromatherapy, aroma therapy, a heater and it is self cleaning. It does it all! The wet area also includes a shower system with a digital diverter that allows you to select your temperature and which section of body sprays you'd like to use or turn them all on with the rain head shower, for the full experiece. The feature tile is hand glazed and a variation of blues with a little sparkle. We used chrome accents in the plumbing selections, Schluter trim, and light fixtures to give the space a modern feel with clean lines. The vanity area has an LED medicine cabinet with lots of storage space and additional lighting on the interior part of the cabinet. The closet features tons of storage as well as two spectacular light fixtures.

This is a wall-mounted closet created using the Victory Closets patented, parts-based, self-locking system (US Patent No. 9,282,816). After securing a single support rail to the wall, there were no other tools or fasteners needed to assemble/install this closet system. Closet dimensions are 6 ft wide x 22 ft long. The customer wanted an affordable solution that would allow them the flexibility to adjust their layout and adapt it to future lifestyle changes, making Victory Closets the perfect fit for the customer's needs. This was a new home build, and the customer did not want a floor-mounted product that would rest on their new flooring and cover up the baseboard trim. Due to the long/narrow space and 10-foot high ceilings, we chose a white finish to help keep the closet feeling bright and spacious. The customer requested a shared his/her closet with a mix of hanging lengths, shoe storage, hamper and drawers.

The unused dining room was envisioned as a sitting room for family chats, girlfriend wine nights, and couples’ conversations. The inspiration was taken from the vintage stereo cabinet, which the family uses regularly to play LP’s. Lighting, furniture frames, and textural rug all evoke the flavors of the ’60s and warmly invite its guests. The theme continues into the super functional study, using minimalistic furniture (including a recliner that doesn’t look like one!) and a custom-built cabinet with inset drawers and doors, providing tons of storage. The light fixture here is the perfect punctuation to this special space, keeping it open and airy. The kitchen continues to boast minimalistic, yet prominent features. The sliding door, mid-century inspired seating and special glass top table (that has a self-contained extension when the party grows larger) are all unique pieces to define this spacious kitchen. Gold accents are throughout to warm up the space and keep it cozy.

This house was a new purchase for my clients. I was entrusted with the task to make this 1980’s kitchen into a beautiful chef’s kitchen. The challenge with this kitchen renovation was making sure that I gave my client, a kitchen that a pastry chef would be proud to bake in. Because she is a pastry chef, the original space was not functional for her. It was dark, dated and did not have enough storage. The cabinets were an old traditional expresso finish, small electric drop-in cooktop, and double wall oven with florescent ceiling light fixtures. I wanted to make sure that I capitalized on the square footage in the kitchen and gave them a more Contemporary Style. The first thing, I had to address was the damaged floor. One of the selling points to the house for my clients was the hardwood floors but, a portion of the floor in the kitchen was rotted by years of water decay. We replaced the hardwood floors that were damaged and refinished them. The second, was to open the entryway between the kitchen and dining room and swapping the refrigerator and the pantry. The contractor demoed the kitchen changing the position of the original pantry and the refrigerator. By doing this, provided more floor space for my clients to walk through. The third, was to address the dark cabinet finish. We went with two-tone color cabinetry. The wall and base cabinets are white and the island is a gray finish. As a pastry chef, I had to make sure my client had enough countertop/prep and storage space. The fourth, was very important to her which was replacing the drop-in electric cooktop with a freestanding professional gas range.
