A beautiful Transitional kitchen design with Traditional elements. A decorative wood hood with tile insert details was incorporated over the range. X mullion stacked upper cabinetry with glass and LED lighting highlights this impressive feature. Magic corner & corner drawers base storage cabinets were used to maximize storage in the base corner locations. Existing drywall vent cover & wire rack closet pantry was removed and cabinet pantries were cleverly used to house vent and allow a storage of narrow items around the vent while full depth storage was accessible by the old closet area. Bar storage drawers were added to the wine cooler area. Fridge & Freezer were enclosed with cabinetry materials and an added narrow pantry for spice storage. Products used were Miralis cabinetry, Fully Integrated Liebherr Fridge & Freezer, LED cabinetry & ceiling lighting, Silestone Altair quartz tops, C-Tech Lucerne Ice White Quartzo sink, Vent a Hood blower and Walker Zanger vintage Oyster backsplashes that added a beautiful flavor to the kitchen. The True 48- 48" Side-by-side Refrigerator/Freezer with 15" Wine Cabinet and 15" Clear Ice Machine. True's 48" side-by-side is more than 29.4 cubic feet of stylish, stainless steel refrigeration. The True 48 is changing the way we think about luxury appliances. Clean, modern, and inspired by the artistry and work ethic of the best professional chefs, this full-sized refrigerator gives high-end residential kitchens the look, work space, and performance of the best professional kitchens around the world.

This lavish kitchen features Thermador fridge and freezer columns. These are separate units installed side by side, and feature our custom teak fronts. Using an Integrated refrigerator allows it to sit flush with the cabinets. This is different from counter depth refrigerators, where the body of the fridge fits flush with the cabinets, but the door and handle still stick out about 4 or 5". Integrated refrigerators are expensive though, starting at $6,000!

Closeup of the door to the hidden pantry. False panels and hardware to match the rest of the bank of cabinets.
We custom made all of the kitchen cabinetry and shelving. The kitchen was a small area so maximizing usable space with function and design was crucial.
The transitional design features a pantry wall with the Sub Zero all glass door refrigerator and oven cabinet centered and equal size pantry cabinets to either side with 3 large storage drawers below and rollout shelves and work surfaces behind the door cabinets above in each with a hidden walk-in pantry door next to the Sub Zero. The cabinets on the range wall all have large storage drawers with wood organizers in the top drawer for spices and utensils. The client also wanted floating shelves to either side of the steel hood which were made from re-sawn maple to look like cut pieces from an old beam, each shelf is lit from the underside with LED flush mounted puck lights.
The island was our biggest challenge. It needed to house several appliances of different size, a farmhouse sink and be able to have function from all 4 sides and still have room for seating space on the backside. The sink side has the farmhouse sink centered with storage drawers to the right that feature wood organizers and a double middle drawer to help hold all the small utensils and still maintain the 3 drawer look from the front view that matches the integrated dishwasher to the left. The right side contains both the integrated soft close trash unit and an icemaker with a third false panel door to maintain the size balance for all three. The left side houses the Sub Zero undercounter freezer. I wanted the face to look like six equal sized drawers, which left the integrated drawer fronts for the freezer overlapping the side panel for the dishwasher. The back of the island has storage tucked up under the seating space. The quartz countertop meets up against the maple butcher block to create a stunning island top. All in all the end result of this kitchen is a beautiful space with wonderful function.
We finished the false beams in our exclusive hand-rubbed cappuccino stain.

Our clients wanted their renovation to blend classic design features with modern elements to reflect their elegant, yet comfortable style. The space that needed the most attention was the kitchen which felt dark, cold, and unwelcoming with its traditional espresso-colored cabinets and stainless steel countertops. A two-level peninsula interrupted flow and connectivity with the adjacent spaces. To have the biggest impact and accommodate the kitchen’s expansion and redesign, we relocated a hallway to an exterior wall allowing natural light to flood in.
With Craftsman details throughout the rest of the home, our Our clients wanted a double-sided island (with seating) in their redesigned kitchen, something their old one lacked. To maintain good circulation, we designed a shallow ‘hutch’ and recessed the paneled refrigerator/freezer, so they are perfectly aligned. The creamy tone of the painted cabinets complements the champagne-stained maple, adding softness and warmth to the space. We incorporated traditional details such as a beadboard backsplash, library sconces, and a Venetian plaster hood, but balanced these with more modern features such as a continuous quartz backsplash, updated hardware, fixtures and lighting. Blending old and new creates a space with a sense of history and character – it feels fresh, modern, and comfortable.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream with a suite of professional appliances including a 48” double gas range and separate 24” refrigerator and freezer columns, paneled to integrate seamlessly. Two sinks allow for separate prep and cleaning zones. Open shelves and glass-front cabinets are the perfect way to showcase treasured items and favorite dishware, while hidden accessories keep the cook and kitchen well-organized. Replacing the old peninsula with an island created better flow and connectivity with the adjacent rooms. The kitchen is now brighter, cozier, and more inviting.
An informal dining area connects the new kitchen to the living room and a nearby butler’s pantry got a top-to-bottom makeover. We paired moody blue-green cabinets with a stunning Nero Marquina marble countertop and black sink. Brushed brass was used throughout, from the bar faucet to the hardware and mosaic tile accent. A distinctive drink rail gives a nod to the past while the saturated color on the walls, ceiling and trim feels simultaneously contemporary and timeless.

True 24" Undercounter Freezer Drawers- Adding even more flexibility to your space, True Undercounter Freezers provide a way to store your frozen items where you need them. Both door and drawer models are UL-rated for outdoor use making these units the ideal addition to you home, both indoor and out.

A 1950’s beach house received a dramatic renovation. While the original floor plan comprised a generous living and dining space, the kitchen had been completely cut off from the rest of the home. We removed several walls, opening the kitchen to the living, dining and bar areas, creating an expansive Great Room with cheerful sunlight and ample space for large family gatherings. White cabinets and ceilings brighten the space considerably, as an island with seating for 4 takes the place of a dated peninsula. The owner, a skilled craftsman, had laid the brick floors piece by piece years ago and wanted to retain his handiwork as part of the new remodel. To incorporate his wishes, we installed a new brick floor in the kitchen to match the existing brick throughout the house. The soft ocean greens, used as accents on the island, backsplash and hood create a beach vibe. As we moved the sink to the island, we covered a not-very- useful sink window to create an appliance wall where a 36″ Wolf CookTop, a pair of wall ovens and a new Sub-Zero fridge are conveniently situated. In the bar, a wine fridge was installed to keep beverages and soft drinks. To retain just a smidge of separation from the formal dining room, a peninsula was installed to separate the two rooms, providing extra work space while allowing a continuous, free flow throughout the rooms.

Challenge: Redesign the kitchen area for the original owner who built this home in the early 1970’s. Our design challenge was to create a completely new space that was functional, beautiful and much more open.
The original kitchen, storage and utility spaces were outdated and very chopped up with a mechanical closet placed in the middle of the space located directly in front of the only large window in the room.
We relocated the mechanical closet and the utility room to the back of the space with a Butler’s Pantry separating the two. The original large window is now revealed with a new lowered eating bar and a second island centered on it, featuring a dramatic linear light fixture above. We enlarged the window over the main kitchen sink for more light and created a new window to the right of the sink with a view towards the pool.
The main cooking area of the kitchen features a large island with elevated walnut seating bar and 36” gas cooktop. A full 36” Built-in Refrigerator is located in the Kitchen with an additional Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Freezer located in the Butler’s Pantry.

Maximizing the functionality of this space, and coordinating the new kitchen with the beautiful remodel completed previously by the client were the two most important aspects of this project. The existing spaces are elegantly decorated with an open plan, dark hardwood floors, and natural stone accents. The new, lighter, more open kitchen flows beautifully into the client’s existing dining room space. Satin nickel hardware blends with the stainless steel appliances and matches the satin nickel details throughout the home. The fully integrated refrigerator next to the narrow pull-out pantry cabinet, take up less visual weight than a traditional stainless steel appliance and the two combine to provide fantastic storage. The glass cabinet doors and decorative lighting beautifully highlight the client’s glassware and dishes. Finished with white subway tile, Dreamy Marfil quartz countertops, and a warm natural wood blind; the space warm, inviting, elegant, and extremely functional.
