Home office - transitional home office idea in DC Metro

Example of a trendy entryway design in Los Angeles

the kitchen after a wall was opened up and a full gut job.
Example of a large classic u-shaped dark wood floor eat-in kitchen design in Atlanta with an undermount sink, flat-panel cabinets, white cabinets, quartz countertops, gray backsplash, ceramic backsplash, stainless steel appliances and an island

Antique white kitchen cabinets with pewter glaze surround adventurous crackle glass, creamy African Tobacco Granite, and a 6" wedge of glass mosaic embedded with smoky quartz rhinestones. This eclectic, very feminine palette, is anchored by the more masculine stone-like grey porcelain wall tile set on the diagonal and professional grade stainless appliances. photo by Tommie Milacci

The builder was www.tartan-builders.com and they did a phenomenal job executing what we wanted. We went for a "modern farmhouse" look with French touches. Hosting holidays this year was only successful due to my efficient BlueStar.

Our clients lived in a wonderful home they designed and built which they referred to as their dream home until this property they admired for many years became available. Its location on a point with spectacular ocean views made it impossible to resist. This 40-year-old home was state of the art for its time. It was perfectly sited but needed to be renovated to accommodate their lifestyle and make use of current materials. Thus began the 3-year journey. They decided to capture one of the most exquisite views of Boston’s North Shore and do a full renovation inside and out. This project was a complete gut renovation with the addition of a guest suite above the garage and a new front entry.

This bathroom was a full gut-job. Transforming it from an old, tired beige-and-pink space to a cool, mid-deco retreat. We weren’t able to gain any more square footage, so we maximized storage using vertical space, drawers and smart shower shelving cut from marble slabs. The finishes were inspired by the industrial 20s, including subway tile, matte black fixtures and a fun, vibrant pop of (my favourite) colour.

This small suburban yard was filled by a large swimming pool. The homeowner is extremely sensitive to the sun so she decided to trade out the pool for this intimate garden space. When this client is not traveling, she is hosting visitors, watching friends’ dogs, or hanging out with her grandchildren. Our job was to create an inviting space that is low maintenance, drought tolerant, and kid- and dog-friendly. Using gravel, concrete pavers, and a simple planting plan consisting of Mediterranean-adaptive plants, we created this design to fit the mid-century home. The gravel allows for the absorption of rainwater while providing a space for kids and dog to romp and play. Olive trees help shade and cool the space, providing a cozy area to gather with friends. The minimalist plantings survive on very little irrigation and require little more than an hour or two of puttering in the garden per season to maintain.

This stately home office blends traditional architectural details with sophisticated, tailored furnishings. Rich wood crown molding and ceiling beams provide a striking contrast to the soft gray paneled walls and expansive built-in bookcases. A streamlined wood desk, woven-front credenza, brass-accented lighting, and pale blue upholstered chairs create an elegant balance of warmth and refinement. Carefully curated artwork, books, accessories, and layered textures give the space a polished yet comfortable atmosphere.

We recently transformed the town houses in Seattle with a vibrant exterior painting project. Using a blend of light and dark green shades, we created a fresh, natural look that highlights the architectural features and complements the surrounding greenery. Completed within 2 weeks, this project demonstrates our commitment to high standards and precision. The premium paint we used offers excellent durability, guarding against Seattle’s wet weather and ensuring the homes’ exterior remains beautiful and protected over time.

Despite the fact that the large bed placed in the center takes up much free space, the bedroom doesn’t seem cramped thanks to the right furniture arrangement and the wide window through which daylight easily enters the room. Also, pay attention to the harmony of all the colors and its shades in which the bedroom furniture pieces are decorated. The white and beige colors create a calm warm atmosphere that perfectly meets a good rest. Make your house or apartment stand out with the best Grandeur Hills Group interior designers!

The stunning view across Tampa Bay greets you as you walk through the beautiful doors of this condo. Our St. Pete studio's job was to frame it with the perfect furnishings, keeping a stylish, sophisticated appeal throughout the home's decor. We used a palette of pastel blues and purples to fuse the interiors with the ocean and sky. Then we added pops of pink and green with patterns from nature to help the space feel more grounded. All in all, this condo is waterfront living at its best! --- Pamela Harvey Interiors offers interior design services in St. Petersburg and Tampa, and throughout Florida’s Suncoast area, from Tarpon Springs to Naples, including Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and Sarasota. Chris Bartol, photographer. Living room in new farmhouse. Client's have lived in many interesting places so my job was to take what they have and put it all together as a cohesive hole. Added color and texture to the walls with golden burlap wall covering. Picked up the blue from the carpet in the walls in the stair wells. We replaced the fabric on the backs of the chairs by the fireplace and used the fabric for pillows on the sofa and added moss fringe. Recovered the sofa in a slightly more formal fabric for this room. Then added new lamp shades and reframed the painting over the fireplace. The finishing touch was a great find, the large square antique coffee table with a parquet top. A great room to sit and have good conversation, a glass of wine and some hors d'oevres, which we do often.

The California king bed features an organic coconut mattress and is outfitted with a 300 thread count Egyptian cotton reversible duvet in custom color scheme. Above it, custom neon artwork reading “phantasmagoria” adds an ethereal glow.
