Working with a custom cabinet maker locally in Charlotte allowed Pike to add neat features like this utensil drawer next to the range. It offers a perfect spot for cooking utensils and knife storage with material to keep knives sharpened.

New to the area, this client wanted to modernize and clean up this older 1980's home on one floor covering 3500 sq ft. on the golf course. Clean lines and a neutral material palette blends the home into the landscape, while careful craftsmanship gives the home a clean and contemporary appearance. We first met the client when we were asked to re-design the client future kitchen. The layout was not making any progress with the architect, so they asked us to step and give them a hand. The outcome is wonderful, full and expanse kitchen. The kitchen lead to assisting the client throughout the entire home. We were also challenged to meet the clients desired design details but also to meet a certain budget number.

The Carving Studio includes a sink, work bench, TV, spot lighting from recessed cans, and decorative general lighting. The cabinets offer storage for items, such as grinders, power tool sharpeners, and hand tools, and for conveniences, such as laptops and printers.

We commonly see the pencil desk with a new role of a bar or coffee station - with this REFRESH the new wine cooler made sense and sharpened up that area of the kitchen!

The ground floor renovation included the complete replacement of the existing stairs, new acacia wood flooring, and all new trim and molding. The ethic throughout the house is in line with that of the exterior: a mindful and deliberate foundation in the traditional partii with sharpened detailing.

When cutting the holes for the lights, we recommend using a new or freshly sharpened holesaw. The size for this particular light is 2-1/4 inches.
