Designing a completely round home is challenging! Add to that the two tubes are merely 8' wide. This requires EVERY piece of furniture to be custom built to fit the continuous rounding walls, floors and ceiling. Here we tucked a master closet between the Master Bedroom area and the Bathroom which is separated by a privacy curtain, custom made with vertically striped linen fabric from Kravet. Curtain is hung on silver wire cable through silver finish gromets for a modern minimalist look. Changing up the finish from most of the projects rich dark walnut we added to that a lighter finish of grey-wash over walnut wood.

The Country, Diamond Bar. Transitional guest room with a dual black out and sheer shade. Silhouette a Deux. Black out roller shade is raised independently of the front shade for ultimate versatility! Drapes pick up elements of accent wallpaper to complete the transitional look.

This valance was mounted over a Hunter Douglas Everwood wood blind. It is a very tailored look with a simple inverted pleat between flat panels mounted with a ring and pinch clip and then threaded through a wrought iron pole.

A bright and airy nursery with feminine touches. The room has no windows so, it was very dark when we first started. I lightened everything by lightening the wall color and adding window panels to add texture and hide a door to the backyard that wasn't used. Gold and pale pink accents were used throughout the space with pops of mint.

These pretty shades were over blackout roller shades. The windows were not very pretty and the customer wanted to soften the look for her daughter. These shades worked perfectly and are operational. The fabric was a sheer linen and we used a satin fabric for the ribbon.

This is the powder room. Note the very interesting wallpaper - custom made in Brooklyn by Flavor Paper- which is a particularly New York paper. Looking closely, you will see a parking meter, a fire hydrant, a pigeon, and rats - along with some Victorian floral motifs. John Buchbinder
