Bathroom. The goal here is to install washer and dryer under countertop. To solve this task, countertop was elevated a little bit higher then average standard. Since space under countertop is busy with washer and dryer, the biggest challenge was to install sink boul. If simply put sink on the countertop, then it goes to high, because countertop already was elevated to allow washer and dryer remain under it. I did not consider shallow sinks, because they are not convenient at all. Also it was not possible to install under mount sink, because there are washer and dryer. Eventually i found sink that is half in, and half above countertop, and increase a little bit of countertop thickness. As a result this solution allow to have both washer and dryer, comfortable pretty deep sink and huge countertop to keep bathroom stuff on it.
Another important element in the bathroom is tankless electrical water heater, Its New York, so water tank for all units installed on the roof. Building is old and big, so sometimes building tank is lack of hot water. To set tankless electrical water heater two extra valves were installed on hot and cold pipes. In case there is no hot water, i close main hot water valve, open cold one that right before heater, to let cold water go inside heater, and open another valve, that deliver hot water into the system after heater. This task also required installation of new electrical cable, because tankless heaters requires a lot of power.
The last thing is pretty big, 48”x30”, embedded wall cabinet, with three big parts and mirror doors. To support this cabinet, extra wood frame structure was built inside wall, that was designed thicker to allow build-in cabinet set inside.

What You Should Know About Fuel Tanks
Home heating solutions can encompass electrical, gas, solar and oil based systems. When one talks about oil tanks that are used as home heating systems, there are a few important things to keep in mind.
Start with the installer
A high-quality, professional and expert installer of oil or fuel tanks can certainly help you make the decision on which type of tank is the best for your property. When you decide on underground fuel tanks, you should make sure that they are:
• Compliant with all statutory requirements.
• Made of steel and polyurethane.
• Covered by guarantee.
• Supported by backfill material, leak detection systems and tank supports.
Aboveground fuel tanks are easier to maintain simply because they are more accessible. Even the smallest of oil or fuel leaks can be detected almost immediately. But even here, an installer should give you premium quality tanks. These tanks:
• Should have secondary containment.
• Should be corrosion resistant.
• Should have proper support as well.
Installation
Installation for both – underground and above ground tanks is a technical and complex process. The installation process for both will start with a technician visiting your home and making an assessment of aspects such as:
• Measuring the space.
• Taking stock of the distance from your home to the tank, pipes and so on.
• The supports needed for the tank and so on.
If it is an above ground tank, then it may also need bollards to protect it from vehicles. An underground tank will need containment sumps and drop tubes and so on.
The combination of components will be decided by the installer and you can certainly ask for a complete breakup of the same and get the costs for the same as well.
Remediation
Repair and remediation of above and underground tanks is a critical task. In fact, many problems associated with underground fuel storage tanks can be eliminated if the home owner invests time and resources into periodic analysis and examination of the same.
A fuel tank that has been installed above the ground will be easier to access but repair and remediation of both types of tanks will entail:
• Soil sampling.
• Extent of oil contamination.
• Assessment of leaks and the extent and number of the same.
• Drawing up a plan for dealing with all problem areas.
Removal
Every fuel tank has a shelf life. At some point of time or the other, the fuel tank will need to be removed. When it comes to above ground installations, the removal company will need to assess the type of fuel and the knowhow on emptying the tank completely.
The tank will also need to be cleaned completely before being loaded on to a vehicle that can take it away to a recycling unit or disposal unit. Underground tanks can be removed or closed or treated as abandoned depending on the condition of the tank and official licenses. For instance, a tank can be treated as closure in place if the removal of the same is going to compromise the safety of structures above the ground.

This kitchen was part of a significant remodel to the entire home. Our client, having remodeled several kitchens previously, had a high standard for this project. The result is stunning. Using earthy, yet industrial and refined details simultaneously, the combination of design elements in this kitchen is fashion forward and fresh.

We completely renovated this space for an episode of HGTV House Hunters Renovation. The kitchen was originally a galley kitchen. We removed a wall between the DR and the kitchen to open up the space. We used a combination of countertops in this kitchen. To give a buffer to the wood counters, we used slabs of marble each side of the sink. This adds interest visually and helps to keep the water away from the wood counters. We used blue and cream for the cabinetry which is a lovely, soft mix and wood shelving to match the wood counter tops. To complete the eclectic finishes we mixed gold light fixtures and cabinet hardware with black plumbing fixtures and shelf brackets.

Like most homes built in the 1980’s this combined entry, living room, eating area, and kitchen were completely compartmentalized with walls. They loved the idea of opening up the spaces to accommodate more of a great room feeling. Advance Design accomplished this by opening up the corner of the kitchen to not only make the space flow, but to let light into the dark eating nook and living room.
Working on a budget, opening up the space and installing new hardwood flooring was a priority, so a more expansive kitchen had to be economical. Wanting a clean, contemporary feel; tall espresso shaker cabinets replaced old soffits, and River White granite made an impressive and clean lined contrast. A drywall pantry was replaced with an efficient roll out pantry, and stylish long stainless steel pulls tie the whole look together.
