The clients wanted a refresh on their master suite while keeping the majority of the plumbing in the same space. Keeping the shower were it was we simply removed some minimal walls at their master shower area which created a larger, more dramatic, and very functional master wellness retreat. The new space features a expansive showering area, as well as two furniture sink vanity, and seated makeup area. A serene color palette and a variety of textures gives this bathroom a spa-like vibe and the dusty blue highlights repeated in glass accent tiles, delicate wallpaper and customized blue tub.

The Kimrose™ chandelier is an Art Deco masterpiece. Its geometric shapes take center stage in a gorgeous Brushed Natural Brass finish. The shades are Clear Fluted Glass, meaning they're ribbed gently with vertical grooves to produce a subtle lighting effect. For lighting without the effect, simply remove the shades.

The original kitchen certainly wasn't what this avid baker had envisioned to create her confections. A small closed off kitchen flanked by a small entry area, living room and the main traffic pattern for the house ran right through the middle. The new design solved all these challenges as well as improved the look of the space. Combining the spaces was achieved by simply removing a wall and increasing the opening to the small entry way. After much re-routing of plumbing, electrical and of course structure, the 3 small spaces where combined into 1 great kitchen, perfect for baking as well as entertaining. This project won "Best Residential Interior $150K and Over" – 2018 NARI Atlanta Contractor of the Year awards. These homeowners desired an open floor plan that would provide a better integration of the spaces on the main floor of their home, along with a more functional kitchen. They wanted to remove the island bottleneck! There was an option to claim space from other infrequently used rooms, but it was not necessary. Select walls were simply removed. Rich walnut wood and walnut wood tones were used to ground the new contemporary feel. The client was not afraid of patterns and textures, so there was an opportunity to mix several. White, navy, orange, lime green and mixed metals were used tastefully throughout via permanent finishes, stylishly placed pops, and new furnishings. Weidmann & Yellow Bungalow brought significant change to this home and the customers' desires to fruition.

What You Should Know About Fuel Tanks Home heating solutions can encompass electrical, gas, solar and oil based systems. When one talks about oil tanks that are used as home heating systems, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Start with the installer A high-quality, professional and expert installer of oil or fuel tanks can certainly help you make the decision on which type of tank is the best for your property. When you decide on underground fuel tanks, you should make sure that they are: • Compliant with all statutory requirements. • Made of steel and polyurethane. • Covered by guarantee. • Supported by backfill material, leak detection systems and tank supports. The tank will also need to be cleaned completely before being loaded on to a vehicle that can take it away to a recycling unit or disposal unit. Underground tanks can be removed or closed or treated as abandoned depending on the condition of the tank and official licenses. For instance, a tank can be treated as closure in place if the removal of the same is going to compromise the safety of structures above the ground.

Our clients, a couple with four children, wanted to update their 1952 home with a mid-century feel, focusing on the main floor. The renovation emphasized enhancing finishes, optimizing storage, and maximizing seating in the dining and living areas. The entryway was designed to be inviting and practical, while the living room featured a statement sectional and a stunning terrazzo fireplace. The kitchen and dining area were transformed to be both functional and elegant, with playful touches like “Drunk Monkeys” wallpaper in the powder room.

Stunning Interior Remodel - Audubon Country Club, Naples, Florida This is a gorgeous remodel in one of Naples’ most extraordinary award-winning communities, Audubon Country Club. The remodel starts with a transitional kitchen makeover with new designer cabinets, beautiful stone countertops, two large islands with seating for four, upgraded features, appliances and fixtures. Bathed in natural light, the living room and family room are open and airy, providing a comfortable setting for formal and informal gatherings. From taking down walls, to new flooring and paint, a redesigned kitchen and bathrooms, this makeover also, included new windows, enhanced ceiling design, dining room and living room. Also, the bathroom was remodeled providing an elegant master suite upgrade. Simply removing non-structural walls or a doorway can establish the sense of flow that your home is missing, allowing it to feel roomier and less cluttered. Another amazing benefit is the natural light that can finally shine throughout the entire home.

I recently worked on the restoration of a Victorian tiled hallway in Cwmbran Wales which is six miles North of Newport. As you can see from the photographs the floor was in quite a neglected dirty state and many of the the black and white border tiles needed removing and replacing. The worst part was the area by the front door where most of the tiles had been removed and then backfilled with concrete. I can only assume at some point in the past it was deemed to difficult or expensive to restore the floor, so they simply covered it up. After visiting to survey the floor I did offer to source replacements for the concreted section and restore that as part of the work however my client’s budget would not stretch to that at the time. My quote was therefore focused on the main section of flooring and included replacing border tiles, deep cleaning the whole floor and then sealing the tiles to add protection. Although I did need to check that I could indeed source the replacement tiles before being able to provide the quote which as it turned out would not be an issue. They were happy to go ahead and we arranged a suitable time to carry out the work which would enable me to work in the property whilst minimising contact with the owners due to the Covid-19 situation. I spend the first day sorting out the black and white border tiles which needed to be gently prised out of position without upsetting the main part of the floor. The exposed subfloor was then cleaned up to remove old adhesive and replacements were fitted where required and secured into place. The floor would need to be solid before cleaning so that was left for day two so the new adhesive could go off overnight. On day two I gave the floor an initial clean using a combination of Tile Doctor Pro-Clean and Remove and Go diluted with water. This produces a strong cleaner/stripper that will tackle dirt and remove coatings such as previous sealers. The old tiles had accumulated years of ingrained dirt, so I needed this extra power to remove the years of dirt and contaminates from the tile. It was sprayed onto the tiles and then left to soak in for ten minutes before being actively scrubbed into the tile using a rotary machine fitted with a black scrubbing pad. The soil was then rinsed off with water and extracted with a wet vacuum. The floor was inspected, and the process repeated on the tough stains until I was satisfied all the dirt had been removed. Next the floor was treated to an acid wash using Tile Doctor Acid Gel using a similar method as before. This is an important treatment for these old Victorian floors that have no damp proof course as it neutralises efflorescent salts trapped in the tile which can appear as white salt deposits later. Once I was happy with the condition of the floor it was given a final rinse and left to dry off. I use a wet vacuum to remove liquids from the floor and on this last extraction I spent extra time to remove as much moisture from the tiles as possible. I came back a few days later and after checking the tiles were dry using a damp meter, I started the application of the sealer. For this floor I applied seven coats of Tile Doctor Seal and Go for a satin finish. Tile Doctor Seal and Go is a specially formulated water-based sealer that provides both stain resistance and a durable low-sheen finish. It is perfect on a floor of this age where it leaves a lovely finish and will remain durable in what is a essentially a high traffic area. Although we didn’t manage to sort out the area by the front door the client managed to fit a made to measure coir door mat along with carpet bar which was quite practical and looked fine so they were able to resolve that problem without blowing their budget. The client was over the moon with results, the floor had a lovely pattern and the colours now shone through. I suggested the use of Tile Doctor Neutral Tile Cleaner to keep the floor clean and in good condition. It is neutral in pH so will ensure that the newly applied sealer stays in place and will ensure maintenance is nice and easy for them. Paul Wales Monmouthshire Tile Doctor

This 1990's home, located in North Vancouver's Lynn Valley neighbourhood, had high ceilings and a great open plan layout but the decor was straight out of the 90's complete with sponge painted walls in dark earth tones. The owners, a young professional couple, enlisted our help to take it from dated and dreary to modern and bright. We started by removing details like chair rails and crown mouldings, that did not suit the modern architectural lines of the home. We replaced the heavily worn wood floors with a new high end, light coloured, wood-look laminate that will withstand the wear and tear from their two energetic golden retrievers. Since the main living space is completely open plan it was important that we work with simple consistent finishes for a clean modern look. The all white kitchen features flat doors with minimal hardware and a solid surface marble-look countertop and backsplash. We modernized all of the lighting and updated the bathrooms and master bedroom as well. The only departure from our clean modern scheme is found in the dressing room where the client was looking for a more dressed up feminine feel but we kept a thread of grey consistent even in this more vivid colour scheme. This transformation, featuring the clients' gorgeous original artwork and new custom designed furnishings is admittedly one of our favourite projects to date!
