I gave the "Chapters" corner a new updated look by simply choosing a new transitional chair and a half, and leather ottoman to replace the traditional country floral combo....Voila! The small sofa is the Kendal and the ottoman is the 37" Nassau, striking with the button tufting and nail head options added.

Inspiration for a contemporary home gym remodel in Seattle

The Magnolia House exterior after full renovation and landscaping cleanup. We went with "simply white" for the color, re-stained the wood shingles with a cedar stain, and replaced the wood post for the front fence.

A dated and jarringly "modern" raised hearth brick fireplace dominated the dining room of this 1908 rowhouse. It was replaced by a custom fireplace mantel, gas log insert, honed Virginia Slate surround. The warm orange paint is Sherwin Williams Marigold, the trim is Benjamin Moore Simply White.

not replacing any original cabinetry or hardware, I simply chose fun pops of color to make the hallway interesting. The kid's room on the right side of the frame was painted in wide horizontal bands of deep hued blues. Contrasting with white trim made it look nautical!

Fireplace mantle got some new corbels, but that green tile has got to go! Vermont Black stone to replace.

The existing hand rail was cut down and replaced with an angled, floor-to-ceiling wall in order to provide more privacy to the den area. The room has its own bathroom and the pull-out couch accommodates guests. Wide-plank, french oak wood flooring runs throughout the home.

Our clients on this project were inspired by their travels to Asia and wanted to mimic this aesthetic at their DC property. We designed a water feature that effectively masks adjacent traffic noise and maintains a small footprint.

We're calling this project our "Love It Or List It" project because our clients were debating whether or not they wanted to renovate or put their home on the market while the market was hot. They opted for the renovation & with the help of the Simply Stunning Spaces team, it's safe to say, they're loving their new space & aren't planning on leaving anytime soon!

"I cannot say enough good things about the Innovative Construction team and work product. They remodeled our water-damaged, 1930s basement, and exceeded all of our expectations - before and after photos simply cannot do this project justice. The original basement included an awkward staircase in an awkward location, one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and small living space. We had a difficult time imagining that it could be much more than that. Innovative Construction's design team was creative, and thought completely out of the box. They relocated the stairwell in a way we did not think was possible, opening up the basement to reconfigure the bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living space, but also adding an office and finished storage room.
