I, Cooper (Owner of Star D Services, LLC) hung each and every one of those mounts and pictures etc. Every few Months or so I go back to take down the smallest ones (or whichever the customer wants) and swap them out for his son's newer bigger mounts. Always adding to the collection. The mounts are not a millimeter off from one mount to the next or from one wall to the next.
I don't have pictures anymore from 2015 but we also helped a Master Carpenter and planed and installed the wood floor as well as much more carpentry work to complete the building.

Soft beiges and creams form the cozy base of this rug, which features a traditional floral design and thick red border. Touches of gold and lavender add a rustic feel, and detailed motifs around the rug's border highlight the level of skill that went into this handmade work of art. 100% wool fibers are perfectly knotted across the rug's 5x3 canvas, making this rug durable and comfortable. A touch of fringe on the rug's vertical ends adds character and casualness to this beautiful piece.

Captivated by South Haven’s natural charm and waterfront beauty, this storybook, waterfront abode is exceptionally true to its lakefront character.

• A beach friendly fiber cement siding in a cheerful shade of blue blends seamlessly with the water backdrop, while contrasting white trim and darker blue window clad lend definition to the exterior.
• An impressive kitchen with stunning Ann Sachs tile backsplash, quartz countertops, richly stained bistro table and Viking Appliances overlook the generous, but clearly defined, living and dining rooms.
• Extensive built-ins with extra storage and workspace, such as a distinctive dining serving piece featuring quartz stone and a lake reflecting mirror, maximize space and make entertaining a breeze.
• Playful design elements like Thibaut wallpaper, braided hemp cabinet insets and white-washed European white oak floors complement the home’s coastal flair with nautical décor and warm hues.
• Fine finishes and rich trim details including wainscot, various painted ceilings, louvered doors on cabinetry, and fireplace surround with kitchen coordinating quartz stone, show off the intricate design gestures.
• Skillfully designed upstairs presents a restful master retreat with private balcony, two guest bedrooms, convenient laundry featuring sleek retractable doors and space maximizing built in bunk beds with ultra-clever steps that provide storage.
• The lower level’s extra guest quarters, additional laundry, full beach bath with top-to-bottom tiled shower, diligent kitchenette, beach-friendly stained concrete floors, outdoor shower that keeps sand at bay, and direct access to the sugary sands of Lake Michigan.

Looking to expand your backyard space for entertaining guests this summer? Check out this project we completed for a couple in Rensselaer! Our project manager, Anthony Mulligan, suggested raising the deck to the second level to double the available space for entertaining. The homeowners had a small backyard that dropped off right after the deck, but we were able to create a functional and beautiful space that they can enjoy for years to come. Our skilled craftsman, Todd Schultz, used Timbertech materials and Westbury railings to create a stunning deck that not only looks great, but also adds value to the home. If you’re looking for similar solutions for your own home, feel free to reach out to us. We’d love to help you bring your backyard entertainment dreams to life!

Designed with an open floor plan and layered outdoor spaces, the Onaway is a perfect cottage for narrow lakefront lots. The exterior features elements from both the Shingle and Craftsman architectural movements, creating a warm cottage feel. An open main level skillfully disguises this narrow home by using furniture arrangements and low built-ins to define each spaces’ perimeter. Every room has a view to each other as well as a view of the lake. The cottage feel of this home’s exterior is carried inside with a neutral, crisp white, and blue nautical themed palette. The kitchen features natural wood cabinetry and a long island capped by a pub height table with chairs. Above the garage, and separate from the main house, is a series of spaces for plenty of guests to spend the night. The symmetrical bunk room features custom staircases to the top bunks with drawers built in. The best views of the lakefront are found on the master bedrooms private deck, to the rear of the main house. The open floor plan continues downstairs with two large gathering spaces opening up to an outdoor covered patio complete with custom grill pit.

wood, iron, and aged surfaces all lend themselves to different transformation. Brushed white painted surface, treated wood, worked on at deep or surface levels. Constructed from durable, gray concrete blocks, the terraced walls create a series of level planting beds, transforming a steep slope into a functional and aesthetically pleasing garden space. The clean lines of the top caps provide a polished finish, while newly planted greenery at the base suggests the project is recently completed. This photo perfectly illustrates how a skilled concrete expert or landscaping company can use a block wall to control erosion and dramatically enhance a property's curb appeal.

This “pole” house from the early 1970s—which commands a panoramic view of Bishop’s Peak and across the valley to Cuesta Ridge—had gone through a few remodels but by 2014 was ready for some tender loving care and the owners were ready to take on the task. The redesign draws from the original “bones” of the house by maintaining and expanding the view shed from inside the house, and differentiating the existing and new forms with alternate materials and colors that blend in with the surrounding natural environment. A new bridge entrance was created to expose some existing boulders and provide for a dramatic sense of entry, while the new entry roof and exterior walls were reconfigured to create a large roof overhang. A new roof deck on the main level will afford the owners new outdoor space with the expansive view off the living area and main bedroom. The owners are performing a lot of the work themselves along with other skilled trade persons.

The low-angle shot emphasizes the row of interlocking concrete blocks being meticulously placed along a mound of red clay soil. This residential landscaping project highlights the process of building a durable block wall for erosion control and creating a level space. In the background, two houses and a large outdoor HVAC unit are visible, placing the project in a typical home setting. The image effectively represents a skilled concrete expert or landscaping contractor at work, providing essential yard drainage and home improvement services.
