Home Theater ceilings are sometimes a challenge however in this case, the architect gave us a lot to work with. The beams were great and the center oval screamed for something creative and different. Reminiscent of old traditional theaters, we gave it a scooped center with medallion and scroll boarder.

Simple is sometimes the best option, and this simple backyard pool is a beautiful place to relax at the end of the day.

Sometimes it is fun to just update a space and make it "yours". A basement bathroom that was OK, at first glance it is fine...but after the renovation this bathroom is un-recognizable....take a look. All the plumbing and light fixtures are matte black to create a graphic contrast with the creamy white walls.

Its hard to paint in peach, but sometimes a room calls for it, especially when other rooms can compliment it. Here the Living room is 18' x 30'. an exceptionally large room with 10' ft ceilings. Because the dining room is a very nice blue, it helps pull it off even better.

Subtle changes can sometimes be the most potent. In the case of this simple, yet elegant home, a darker grey was chosen to contrast the traditional white. The window shutters made for an excellent feature to focus on, so the colours were inverted from level to level. What colour combinations would you choose?

Love this girls' bedroom! I can image this girl curling up on the window seat and reading a book for hours. The lavender and pale yellow walls are a perfect color combination. The white bedding is light and airy, which gives a whimsical look to the bedroom. The flower rugs are a perfect addition to this room and is complete with the shutters on the bay windows. Sometimes less is more. We could have done a huge brick courtyard with lots of columns, but that didn't fit the house or the clients. Creating a lawn "courtyard" anchored with brick piers was all we needed to do.

Old homes are amazing, but sometimes they have opportunities for improvement. This second floor bathroom was narrow, dark and dated, so we rearranged the space, installed all new finishes and made sure the plumbing and electrical was met current code. The result is a beautiful 3/4 bath that integrates well with the home's age.

Remodel of the bathroom of a Tudor style cottage. Soft blue green tile was bordered with chocolate brown trim, in a color scheme and style similar to what might have originally been there (the original tile was replaced with plain white tile sometime in the 1980's).

I would recommend updating the fireplace surround. As of now, it's not in the budget or a top priority for my client. Sometimes you have to embrace what you have!

Small powder with lots of POP! The client fell in love with the wall paper and the rest came together. Sometimes there is that one thing that you just have to use, well in this case it was the wallpaper. It gives lots of character and simple items in this powder room are the accents to it.
