Design ideas for a mid-sized contemporary full sun backyard water fountain landscape in San Diego with decking.

A custom tile layout was designed for this alcove bath. Subway sized tiles installed vertically at the lower section amplify the height of the space in neutral shades of tan, gray and beige. The spa glass mosaic tile is framed with a white pencil edge creating a horizontal accent band. It's framed again with a picture frame mitred corner detail around the recessed niches. Polished chrome fixtures by Kohler with a slide bar and a flip-side hand held spray make this shower perfect for the whole family regardless of their height. The oversize air tub is extra deep so a grab bar was installed at an angle. An arched shower curtain rod was selected in lieu of glass doors to create a more open feeling while soaking in the air-jet tub. Delicious Kitchens & Interiors, LLC

Continuing the concrete-look porcelain tile throughout the home gives it a nice, clean consistency and appeal. Carrying the tile from floor to walls while accenting the tub/ shower wall with simple, yet interesting mosaic makes the space playful yet sophisticated. The walnut vanity gives a pop of warmth to the space and creates balance. The homeowners were seeking a major renovation from their original master bath. The young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor, particularly their master bath which was cramped and overpowered by a Jacuzzi-style tub. After multiple design meetings spent choosing the right hardware and materials, everything was set, and the transformation began! Drury designer, Diana Burton, began by borrowing some space from the bedroom this way they were able to reconfigure the whole layout, which made a big difference to the homeowner. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.

Complete bathroom remodel. this project was taken down to the studs. Custom design vanity with spa tower which incorporates a styling tools drawer, shallow makeup drawers and plenty of functional storage. To reduce waster space under the sink we made the cabinet below more shallow in order to have a drawer below which will optimize usable storage space.

APD was hired to update the primary bathroom and laundry room of this ranch style family home. Included was a request to add a powder bathroom where one previously did not exist to help ease the chaos for the young family. The design team took a little space here and a little space there, coming up with a reconfigured layout including an enlarged primary bathroom with large walk-in shower, a jewel box powder bath, and a refreshed laundry room including a dog bath for the family’s four legged member!
