Inspiration for a mid-sized contemporary drought-tolerant and partial sun front yard concrete paver and wood fence garden path in Orange County.

Designed for a Cliff May "Rancho" home, this project resulted comfortable outdoor spaces for relaxation and entertaining. New walls and fencing, softened with lush planting, create a private atmosphere. And a casual, meadow-style garden filled with California native plants echoes the home's open, airy feeling. Netta Architects designed this residence a 3 story 5,000 square foot house located on the apex of the Atlantic Highlands, overlooking the Raritan Bay. The location of the house relates to the land in a very spontaneous way, taking advantage of its slope, the surrounding natural wooded environment, and the expansive view over the Bay. The interior consists of an open floor plan, which is amply glazed to the outside, and accentuates large, functional and multipurpose spaces. The strategic location of the first and second floor terraces present a park like atmosphere and affords the occupants
a quiet place to relax and decompress. Very simple, yet elegant materials are utilized on the exterior which allows the structure to assume a sense of place within the beautiful surrounding environment. The Residence is currently being considered for an AIA Residential Design Award.

A charming 1920s colonial had a dated dark kitchen that was not in keeping with the historic charm of the home. The owners, who adored British design, wanted a kitchen that was spacious and storage friendly, with the feel of a classic English kitchen. Designer Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn helped her client, while architect Greg Lewis redesigned the home to accommodate a larger kitchen, new primary bath, mudroom, and butlers pantry.

Check out this loft! At the top of the stairs we created a fun and casual place for the boys to hang out with their friends. We placed a pair of chairs on each wall and all convert into twin sleepers - perfect for spontaneous sleep overs! We framed an array of cool vintage surf photos and driftwood art. Both bedrooms on either side have sliding barn doors which we painted gray with black hardware. The vaulted ceiling has a shiplap finish and contrasts the sky blue walls. And the view you ask? step out onto the balcony and can not only hear the ocean but smell it too!! Ahhhh! Delightful!
