This light-filled modern farmhouse in Mill Spring, North Carolina serves as a relaxing refuge for its owners. The home is tucked in the countryside on a horse farm with rolling pastures and beautiful mountain landscape. Our clients wanted a home that would be cozy for them and their dogs but could also maintain a comfortable feel when hosting extended family and friends. Photography by Todd Crawford.

There are so many details in this kitchen it's hard to decide where to look. Each part of it is so carefully thought out, with no detail left to spare. Our clients eclectic taste and her deep trust in us, made this remodel not only top notch, but easy and fun! We used solid walnut cabinets and open shelves to bring warmth to the space and mixing patterns, but being consistent in color and tone allowed us to incorporate a lot of style into one space. For this beautiful bathroom, we have used water-proof tadelakt plaster to cover walls and floor and combined a few square meters of exclusive handmade lava tiles that we brought all the way from Morocco. All colours blend in to create a warm and cosy atmosphere for the relaxing shower time.
