This classic estate sits on over 30 acres of land. Fairfield House & Garden managed all the site work, hardscape, and plantings. As you travel up the long, curved driveway you approach the limestone-enclosed cobblestone parking courtyard complete with granite paver inlays. This grand courtyard allowed for the placement of Specimen Columnar Purple Beech Trees as well as Hydrangea, Roses, Boxwoods and Holly. The back of the home consists of two formal sod panel lawns with perimeters of white marble stabilized gravel paths. Adjacent to the timeless Japanese Maple tree is a 70ft formal fountain. Continuing down the stunning stone staircase that is surrounded by lush plantings, you are led to a sprawling great lawn.

This Live Edge Coffee Table is handmade using Collectors Grade Burled Oregon Black Walnut. These are highly figured rare walnut slabs for the top, the base is tapered maple burl which gives this table a very sleek rustic feel. We use bowties to fill voids and cracks to prevent cracks from growing and to stabilize the wood. Top is made from 1 solid cross cut slab (cookie) of amazing figured Oregon Black Walnut with tons of Curling and Birdseye. All Slabs are Kiln or air dried to stable moisture levels to create long lasting quality slabs of the finest hardwoods. Hardwoods are locally sourced.

Studio Terrain recreated this outdoor entertaining after a major home extension. Taking advantage of sweeping 180 degree views of the Puget sound, Orca Pods, Humpback whales and the Olympic mountains, the design allows for maximum view corridors from the inside while still providing space for 40+ guests. Utilizing a louvered roof system and overhead heat for four seasons entertaining, the wood fired pizza oven provides a central gathering point year round. The lawn was engineered to the same specs as world class soccer fields providing fast draining lawn use in the wettest seasons. A clean concrete lawn edge is actually a hidden structural retaining wall with pin piles to stabilize the slope edge.

We removed lower deck, constructed two new steps to ground level, then installed the 7'x24' Belgard Lafitt rustic slab paver patio in Tuscana color blend. We used polymeric joint sand. This picture is after we applied an anti-fungal joint-stabilizing concrete paver sealer to the patio.

Distributed by Timspec, Accoya was used chosen as the ideal material to clad a show home in Auckland. Accoya was selected for the black coated weatherboards on the front section of the house, due to its durability and stability benefits. Because of Accoya’s modification technique it is the ideal wood for external cladding such as this. Generally, problems can occur with darker coatings on cladding, due to shrink and swell being exasperated by the solar gain. But, Accoya wood’s superior dimensional stability negates this problem and maintenance intervals are dramatically extended. The cladding needed to be aesthetically pleasing as well as highly durable in order to withstand the extreme climates in New Zealand. Accoya was also chosen due to its rot resistant benefits and its ability to deter insects in these types of environments.

Rustic Dining Table with Hairpin Legs by Kustom Madera Each piece is custom made to order with 100% natural wood so your table will not be identical to the one pictured. It will have its own unique character! I do not do any distressing to this wood so it does make for a nice surface to use as a dining table. The mid-century modern hairpin tables legs come in a 3/8" solid black 3-rod steel heavy-duty proofed hairpin. Small clear floor protectors will come with the hairpin legs that can also be used to stabilize it on uneven surfaces help this piece blend with your existing styles easily. This dining table comes finished with a protective water-based polyurethane coating to take the abuse a desk needs to withstand. *Dimensions can vary slightly (+/- 0.75") The wood top will be pre-drilled for ease of assembly. A power drill is highly recommended to complete the assembly of the hairpin legs and tabletop. Please feel free to ask any questions.
