This project hits very close to home for us. Not your typical office space, we re-purposed a 19th century carriage barn into our office and workshop. With no heat, minimum electricity and few windows (most of which were broken), a priority for CEO and Designer Jason Hoffman was to create a space that honors its historic architecture, era and purpose but still offers elements of understated sophistication.
The building is nearly 140 years old, built before many of the trees towering around it had begun growing. It was originally built as a simple, Victorian carriage barn, used to store the family’s horse and buggy. Later, it housed 2,000 chickens when the Owners worked the property as their farm. Then, for many years, it was storage space. Today, it couples as a workshop for our carpentry team, building custom projects and storing equipment, as well as an office loft space ready to welcome clients, visitors and trade partners. We added a small addition onto the existing barn to offer a separate entry way for the office. New stairs and an entrance to the workshop provides for a small, yet inviting foyer space.
From the beginning, even is it’s dark state, Jason loved the ambiance of the old hay loft with its unfinished, darker toned timbers. He knew he wanted to find a way to refinish the space with a focus on those timbers, evident in the statement they make when walking up the stairs. On the exterior, the building received new siding, a new roof and even a new foundation which is a story for another post. Inside, we added skylights, larger windows and a French door, with a small balcony. Along with heat, electricity, WiFi and office furniture, we’re ready for visitors!

THIS WAS A PLAN DESIGN ONLY PROJECT. The Gregg Park is one of our favorite plans. At 3,165 heated square feet, the open living, soaring ceilings and a light airy feel of The Gregg Park makes this home formal when it needs to be, yet cozy and quaint for everyday living.
A chic European design with everything you could ask for in an upscale home.
Rooms on the first floor include the Two Story Foyer with landing staircase off of the arched doorway Foyer Vestibule, a Formal Dining Room, a Transitional Room off of the Foyer with a full bath, The Butler's Pantry can be seen from the Foyer, Laundry Room is tucked away near the garage door. The cathedral Great Room and Kitchen are off of the "Dog Trot" designed hallway that leads to the generous vaulted screened porch at the rear of the home, with an Informal Dining Room adjacent to the Kitchen and Great Room.
The Master Suite is privately nestled in the corner of the house, with easy access to the Kitchen and Great Room, yet hidden enough for privacy. The Master Bathroom is luxurious and contains all of the appointments that are expected in a fine home.
The second floor is equally positioned well for privacy and comfort with two bedroom suites with private and semi-private baths, and a large Bonus Room.

A wine cabinet in glass installation typically involves the placement of a glass-enclosed cabinet in a room or space, designed specifically for storing and displaying wine bottles. These cabinets may range in size from small countertop models to larger, floor-standing pieces, and can feature a range of design elements to suit different styles and preferences.
The glass enclosure of the wine cabinet serves multiple purposes. Firstly, it allows for easy visibility of the wine bottles, making it simple to find and select a bottle for consumption. Secondly, the glass helps to protect the wine from sunlight and other environmental factors that can affect its flavor and quality. Finally, the glass adds an element of sophistication and style to the room, providing an elegant focal point that can enhance the overall aesthetic.
In terms of installation, wine cabinets in glass typically require professional installation due to their size, weight, and complexity. The installation process may involve anchoring the cabinet to the wall or floor, or incorporating additional support structures to ensure the cabinet is stable and secure.
Overall, a wine cabinet in glass installation is an excellent option for wine enthusiasts who want to store and display their wine collection in a stylish and functional way. With a range of design options available, it's possible to find a wine cabinet that perfectly suits your tastes and preferences while also enhancing the overall aesthetic of your home or space.

Garage storage area with windows allows the typical garage items to be stored out of the way. A Marvin Double Hung window and a Marvin Awning window add light to the space. They can both be easily opened for ventilation.

Ligne Roset - PRADO Sofa
by Christian Werner
Typically the design process surrounding a new sofa is heavily focused on aesthetic research. Prado represents a departure from this school of thought completely. Prado has first and foremost been designed based on the study of lifestyles and human nature. We find the same inspirations in Prado that brought us Smala in the earlier part of this century. Prado consists of a vast bench seat that can be combined and adjusted as desired and onto which back cushions may be placed at will, so that one can sit or lie down as they wish. It offers complete freedom as these cushions, weighted and equipped with a non-slip system, do not need to be rested against or attached to any object for support. They could, therefore, be arranged on the floor for a few leisurely moments around a low table, while the seat (cushion) could double as an occasional bed simply with a flip of its seat cushion to expose a side covered with mattress ticking. Collection includes and optional fitted sheet when using this option.

Responding to ergonomic research that challenges the idea that we only sit in a single forward-facing position, Generation is designed to support the range of postures and work-styles typical of today's workplace, allowing you to sit how you want.

Ligne Roset - FLAX Lounge Chair
by Philippe Nigro
A comfortable, attractive and well scaled model; occupying a space of only 29 1/2 2 / 75 cm2 - it will fit with interiors of any style. In a contemporary setting, it provides both glimpses of the knowledge and workmanship of times past and the living aspect of natural walnut that evokes a sense of warmth. The wood frame of armchairs- an element typically concealed, with Flax becomes not only visible, but its principal aesthetic asset.

Our clients live in a typical, traditional suburban home. One homeowner had been collecting wine and requested a dedicated room for storing, tasting and entertaining that felt as if he were in a California wine cellar. Our design team created a room with Old World touches including a dramatic arched entrance bordered by decorative faux stone quoins. The doorway has two dark wood and glass doors. Key features include two built-in dual zone, wine refrigerators, a flagstone look floor, mural on the back wall with an arch that looks as if there is a wine cellar behind it. Furnishings include a custom made, circular epoxy table with a live edge, 4 bar stools, two upholstered chairs and end table. Rough-hewn look beams adorn the ceilings and the walls and ceilings are hand troweled plaster with a glaze.
